I really enjoyed this fantastic book. it opened my eyes the preK space. I am a PreK teacher and found the opinions expressed in the book was very relatable. In public school there are visions for adults but the kids are not included in creating an environment in which children can be children. I hope that more educators will add this book to their library.

Historia
While researching the toxic and addictive properties of sugar for Fat Chance, Robert Lustig made an alarming discovery - our pursuit of happiness is being subverted by a culture of addiction and depression from which we may never recover. Dopamine is the "reward" neurotransmitter that tells our brains we want more; yet every substance or behavior that releases dopamine in the extreme leads to addiction. Serotonin is the "contentment" neurotransmitter that tells our brains we don't need any more; yet its deficiency leads to depression.

I enjoyed the book. it was a little technical but the author elaborated on the terms. The book also offered links and sites to find out more information. I appreciate that the author cares about the topic enough to share. Great listen.

Overwhelmed? If you feel anything less than “hell yeah!” about something, say no. We say yes too often. By saying no to almost everything, you leave space and time in your life to throw yourself completely into the few things that matter most.

this book was one of the best books I have read on leadership on a while. I like the way it was written as a fable. There was humour sprinkled throughout the book. it was also this hidden gems when once discovered satisfied the reader. I went through this book so fast because it had so many valuable lessons. This book is part of my library, I am buying in print. I applaud the author and narrator. Fantastic read.
