In the aftermath of the demon invasion, Ilea makes her way to Riverwatch to find a home for a wayward mind weaver (ensuring he doesn’t eat anyone along the way). Historia
This is the story of Dan—a high school dropout who plays guitar in a heavy metal band and has a minimum wage job wearing a mouse costume. He's not exactly destined for great things. Then Dan wakes up in another world—a world where science never progressed past the Middle Ages, and the laws of physics have been replaced by role-playing game rules. Dan makes some mistakes—some big mistakes. Dan becomes a Death Knight: a walking personification of death and darkness. Now, Dan must fight monsters, zealots, and demons just to survive, and he must do it all alone.

I absolutely love this book. One of my all time favorites! If I had to make one criticism it's that he uses the word immediately way too much.. It's 1 of those things you just don't notice but once you do you can't ignore.
Other than that this book is perfect I can't get enough of this story.

It’s still winter, but everyone’s on the move. Rags the goblin is heading north, seeking allies against the Goblin Lord. And Erin is going home...or trying to, at least. She’s determined to bring back cheer to The Wandering Inn - as well as Christmas! But the coldest time of the year leads to strange encounters with a number of people. At the same time, Ryoka Griffin is far from what she would consider to be “home”. Deep in the north, in the city of Invrisil, she finds herself as the guest of Magnolia Reinhart.

Revisado: 08-06-21
This is probably my favorite series right now. Every book has so much to offer.
But it always leaves me wanting more. There's lots of really cool story lines and characters that you genuinely care about. It's got a real old time folk tale kind of feel about it.
The author has created this world and and has done a amazing job amazing job making it feel real.
If you're looking for a new book I highly recommend this one! But maybe you should start with book one lol

Historia
Max and his party start down a dark path with only an echo to remind them why they’re fighting. Finding their target in the game isn’t enough, they need to find them in real life. Perhaps for this very reason, they’re no longer harmless misfits: they’re the most infamous players in the game. They get invited to an auction that offers contract items to the highest bidder, a golden opportunity to prepare for the battles that loom in their future. Weapons aren’t the only thing they need. Down a party member, they need a new ally to fill the void in the team.

love this series
Revisado: 06-22-21
This is one of those books that you have a hard time pausing . The magic system was a little bit more comprehensive but the story in the characters keep it moving enough that it might actually get in the way if it were. Still though I'd like to know all the available classes. seems like he just makes them up as he goes .

Historia
Death cultivator Grady Hake thought his problems would disappear when he and his friends became members of the strongest gang on the prison planet, but all it did was thrust them into the kill-or-be-killed world of the Eight-Legged Dragons. As Hake undergoes the trials of his gang, he'll discover there's a deadlier force on the prison planet than the death cultivator, even deadlier than the Angel of Death, and it wants his soul. Learning to cloak his lethal Spirit attacks in oblivion might help Hake rise through the ranks, but it won't keep him and his friends alive.

Jim and his friends found a way to stop the evil infesting the leadership of the Empire, but the shadows of the world are not all cast by the demon incursion. There's plenty of darkness already dwelling within the corrupted heart of the Empire. One of the team goes missing, and Jim has to find them before it’s too late. They'll have to find a way to come together, or risk the Empire sinking completely into the darkness.

Just an honest review For the whole series
Revisado: 06-01-21
I like this book. It managed to keep my attention most of the time which is no small thing however, I do have a couple complaints. 1st There's the convenience factor. It seems like the author likes to crowbar the story instead of letting things play out organically .
I know it sounds nitpicky but sometimes It's a little ham handed.
Also it seems like in the fight scenes whenever things heat up the author forgets about the other characters in the group. Then they show up at the end in an AHA there you are moment.
Having said that I still really like this series it's fun and Imaginative and the narrator is brilliant I love that guy.

Steve doesn’t know who he is. Or who he was. He doesn’t know anything, actually. Not even where he is. Other than a vast open field of dirt. All Steve knows is that he’s apparently supposed to build a farm. At least that’s his only workable assumption. Given the number of farm-tools left to him. That and the massive number of sacks full of seeds. Unfortunately, this isn’t even the strangest part of this new life. Hidden inside the farm tools, Steve finds messages. Messages that appear in floating windows in front of him.

I get really frustrated with stories like this , where the characters all kiss the ass of the main character. every single event that takes place is just another opportunity for the author to vicariously indulge in narcissism. I don't care about ANYONE in this book there is no sense of relativity what so ever.it feels like it was written by a 14 year old .despite that it was still mildly entertaining.

Revisado: 07-14-20
Andrea was amazing this however the book was very lackluster. The magic system didn't seem very well-thought-out the story was really slow honestly I'm not even sure what the plot was it just seemed like a lot of Trying the level up.
But if I'm being honest I quit the book about 2/3 of the way through. I just got bored with it
