I had to pause this book several times I was laughing so hard. I’ve read many books in this genre, and this is by far my favorite.

I was anxious to read the latest in the Defiance of the Fall series and I wasn't disappointed. The storyline continues to get stronger and the characters all seem to be gaining depth. New lands, new enemies and new alliances. Now the wait is on for number four in the series.

Yo! That was a great listen. I loved the length of the book. I could see many instances where other authors would have broken the book and spun off another book, but brink is giving us a story...with the amount of meat we can enjoy! I gobbled this one quick! and it was great.
I think this series is great. I can see why some readers are getting concerned about his getting a little 'soft'. I think it's because in most books prior, he has been quite eager to do the common sense thing, but he is beginning to think about people's feelings more and more...and not just the expedient thing...but I think the demon character is there to balance it out.
Can't wait for book 4 in Feb. I hope it's just as long if not longer....

Book 1 - Obviously a beginner writer with some great ideas
Book 2 - Much improved writing and story
Book 3 - So much story and development, i wish all LitRPG's had this much depth... Well Done!
Book 4 - Can't wait.

It picks up where the last book ended. It has good progress if you liked the other books you'll enjoy this one as well.

Incredible story and captivating characters!

Unfortunately the repetitive use of words, In particular the use of "However" draws to the point of torture through out the series.
I feel this is easily fixed in editing but at this point it takes away much as it's quite emergent breaking.

Still bought the whole series as it hasn't stopped me from enjoying it.

Ps.
When I went to share this with my wife I didn't have to queue anything up instead just playing where I was in the story in less then 60 second the word "However" came up 3 times!
Easiest solution just Delete the word "However" entirely.

Please keep write!

I love these books and I'm very excited to continue this series. very plausible system bad guys are the bad guys the good guys are the good guys. the mechanics work for the most part. there's great character development and the whole story has a nice feel to it. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

The writing is lacking variety with many phrases used so many times you can almost expect them, but the story is exactly what I was looking for in a litrpg. The story grows with the character becoming more complex and diverse as chapters fly by. A good read for any true gamer or lover of litrpg.
