This is such a well-written story. The creative world-building and FBI details are fascinating! The characters are really intriguing, and the plotlines are all so well-woven that I have listened and read these books several times and don't get bored. it is like a comfort series!
I wish that there was a way for the author to fix Virtual Voice issues like Sera being sir rah instead of Sara. But other than minor details like that, this is well worth the $2 for an audio upgrade to listening to Alexa read to me! So happy the author made her books more accessible to those of us who enjoy or need to listen.

Love Erin Flynn's work, and Karma Bakery is a great paranormal reverse harem series. It is very slow burn, and there are trigger warnings for SA that the FMC experienced before the story begins. She does have flashbacks on page. Her trauma is very real and present, so it is not a light read, although a lot of the plot is on the sweeter side of Bakery life. The virtual voice is decent and overall does a good job. So much better than having Alexa read it or using the voice reader from Kindle, and I appreciate that the author made these books accessible to her readers.

A Satisfyingly Dark Ending

Bloodborne was filled with twists and turns. A lot of Dark moments, and a lot of edge of your seat ones that left you guessing what might be coming next. Although I definitely didn't guess the ending (I won't spoil it!) it wrapped up nicely at the end. Performances were great, fixing the low tones of some of the male actors from the previous book. definitely recommend if you like dark futuristic romance! looking forward to move from

The story continues to gripe me, and it is definitely dark! The spice level amped up to an 11! At points it was a bit hard to keep listening. The levels of manipulation by everyone was rough, especially as it continued. Stockholm or Trenton syndrome as the book called it, was a lot to listen to it played out. This is definitely not for pearl clutchers! By turns I have loved and hated all of the characters. It definitely keeps you on the edge. The voice performances are good, I knocked a star down because the male voices kept going so low and soft at points, I had to keep adjusting the volume to understand it. But the ensemble cast is good, and the end of the book definitely keeps you on edge for what is coming!

Intriguing and Sexy

This was an unexpected story. The title made me think vampires but it ended up being an interesting SciFi/Fantasy twist with world-building that reminded me of Rise of the Illiri. The more that unfolds, the more you feel like you are peeling the layers that the author crafted for her world and a better understanding of the disparity of science between the Wild and Eden. The characters are fascinating and I look forward to seeing where this story takes us as it ends on a cliffhanger!
