This was performed very well. Good story. I found myself becoming incensed by the way women were treated as second or third class citizens in that era. We’ve come a long way. Actors did a wonderful job narrating

I enjoyed this book more than I did the previous one. The different characters were well developed and of course there was a new female love interest. I could live without that in every book but I’m sure it appeals to many ppl

Very good as always, but…….(this is a long review😜) pls excuse any mispelled names. Spoiler alert but not a big one
Revisado: 06-30-24
This series is so good and I can’t wait for the next book and the next and on and on. However I wanted to slap witch Wiscaria. I was more than sick of the back and forth of that drama. I loved the book as a whole and my little pet peeve is a personal problem I have I think. I can’t abide whining. Either forgive her or forget her but stop threatening to kill her and then screaming in agony when you think she is dead. If it had only been the one time it would’ve been okay I think but it happened over and over. I look forward to Nanette’s story in future books. And I am liking Doreen more at the end of this book. In the beginning of this one I just didn’t like her at all. But of course that was the point I guess. This author is so smart and so good in character development. 10/10 stars for this series and the narrator of course! She is wonderful

Character development
Revisado: 05-24-24
I have listened to all the DC Smith books and am loving that this series with the other main characters is getting its own series. The character development is superb. I especially enjoy that some of them have little quirks or personalities traits that are not just like every other character. It takes all kinds to make an interesting life irl after all

Interesting
Revisado: 11-18-23
As a medical professional myself, I found this Doctors experiences very interesting. I began my career in the 1990’s and can attest to the broad changes in healthcare. There has been a big change in the way male doctors treat their counterparts I believe and the other female healthcare professionals. I don’t want to get slammed for that opinion but I have seen it and been a part of it in my small slice of the world
