Female narrator is awful

I liked the male voice, but the female voice is terrible. Story was pretty good. Lots of emotional sex.

It was fine. No surprises or unusual twists. Very formulaic.

I gotta say though…. The thing that bugs me the most is when they are about to have sex and some stupid girl who barely knows the dude is all like “you don’t need to use a condom; I trust you”. Um…. #worstideaever

And the men in this book like their ladies young. Too young. I guess I don’t get into that trope either.

Narrator is the worst. Story is abysmal.

Maybe the author has never been in a snowstorm or lived in a rural area? People with big trucks do not expect the ambulance to four dog it through the unplowed snow?! This makes zero sense. The whole story hinges on this very implausible detail. The main character is rude, naive, and annoying.

The narrator is terrible. I can’t stand Savannah Peachwood. This narrator reminds me of Savannah. She makes her character sound overly dramatic and just stupid.

Terrible narration and story was not interesting or compelling

The narrator grates on my nerves. I don’t care for the falsetto voices he uses and I don’t think he really portrayed the characters well. I won’t listen to his narrations again.

Story was…. Lacking. In every way. Not interesting enough to keep me invested. I listened to the whole thing but was not impressed.

Savannah Peachwood is a terrible narrator.

Book was dumb. Super predictable. Weak story. Zero depth.

The plot was quite far-fetched. This doesn’t even really qualify as an entertaining premise. Just beyond far fetched.



But the absolute worst part is the female narrator. I hope I never hear her voice again.

I didn’t care for this one. I just wasn’t captured at all by the story or the performance. I am not sure how they made a series out of this? And the religion part of this made it a complete waste of time.

I know a lot of people didn’t like all the bouncing around. That didn’t bother me. But I didn’t find Grace likable or intelligent. She was just annoying.

Weak female leads

I didn’t like either female main character. Both Mary and Rachel were naive and not particularly intelligent or strong. I wanted to like this book, but it just wasn’t as good as I had hoped.
