supportive and helpful
Revisado: 01-17-24
this is a self-respect book that helps you to know more about you and change things that you don't like or want to change. I could listen to this book more often to help me get through some of the things I used to think we're flaws about me.

Historia
Straitlaced Evelyn and reformed bad boy Marco might make an unlikely pair, but the two lovebirds couldn’t be more head over heels for each other. Sure, they’ve had some missed calls along the way, but all that’s in the past. They’ve got their sights set on forever, and the next stop is a walk down the aisle in front of their friends and family. It’s the big day, and everyone’s gathered to watch Marco and Evelyn say "I do". Everyone except Evelyn that is. Is the bride running late or running? The surprising answer might just be in their voicemails.

“What does she want from me?” A young Iranian immigrant panics as she’s being chased through the streets by an unknown blonde woman. When their two worlds collide, the answer to that question becomes increasingly unsettling in Afsaneh Gray’s The Other Woman, a bracingly unpredictable audio experience. It was okay. I was expecting more suspense. It was almost there.

I thought the book was ok. I was expecting more suspense and detail. The scenes seem to skip a little bit.

Romantic Thriller and Suspenseful
Revisado: 06-01-22
This book was very interesting. The book takes place in Brooklyn and talks about mental illness, race, neighborhood gentrification. The main character, Sydney, is a little dependent on other people, until she can no longer be dependent on others’. She must figure out how to work off of her own strengths and figure out her own mental state and how to handle it. The issues that Sydney deals with is similar to what goes on around the world. This book is a romantic thriller turned horror.

Historia
Alicia Berenson’s life is seemingly perfect. A famous painter married to an in-demand fashion photographer, she lives in a grand house with big windows overlooking a park in one of London’s most desirable areas. One evening, her husband, Gabriel, returns home late from a fashion shoot, and Alicia shoots him five times in the face and then never speaks another word. Alicia’s refusal to talk, or give any kind of explanation, turns a domestic tragedy into something far grander, a mystery that captures the public imagination and casts Alicia into notoriety.

Intense Read
Revisado: 04-28-22
I honestly that this was going to be a slow read type of book, but it definitely keeps you on your toes. It is truly a psychological thriller with twists and turns that have you thinking one thing and the plot changes. Definitely a top 5 favorite for books I have read. Definitely can’t wait to see what other books the author comes out with in the future.
