Boring and racists
Revisado: 09-08-23
This book was boring with the exception of the first two chapters. It was also, too racists as opposed to a Southern Culture story.

HORRIBLY BORING
Revisado: 12-06-21
This is perhaps the most boring book I've attempted to read. The narrator said the word "Carnegie's", literally in every sentence. half of the words in the book are Carnegie's"!!! i listened to about four chapters and thought I was going to pull my hair out. i skipped a few chapters and tried again, still horribly boring!!! dont waist your time or money on this book.

The beginning g amd the ending are the best parts of the book. The middle begins to become somewhat mundane amd all of a sudden there is an event. The narrator is by far the best part of the book. He bri ga the court t to life.

Kept waiting for it to get better.. odd book
Revisado: 05-12-19
This book has great reviews however,, I kept waiting plugging thru waiting for it to get better, sadly it didn't for me. It was an odd book no rhythm, or reason, or story line. The narration was so slow it made me crazy it was so slow. Based on the ratings I guess there was something about this book I missed. I hate to say this but I am relived its finished.

terible... trashing Freddie.!!!, untrue
Revisado: 04-13-19
very wordy!!!! long .. long.. long... More importantly, the author is trashy Freddie, leaving how all of his wonderful attributes. It's terrible, the author is portraying him as a lazy, sex addict which couldn't be further from the truth. It's shameful how the author trashed Freddie's character and at times the band.
