Ol' Pete is kind of a sociopath but I'm here for it.

I grew up on Disney's Peter Pan, and then the Robin Williams led "Hook". In listening to this amazingly narrated classic is just how much of a sociopath Peter Pan is. He "thins out" the Lost Boys that grow old, he almost let's George and Michael fall to their death several times and several other eye brow raising moments. All in all a really great story and would recommend to everyone. The eye brow raising parts will go over children's heads so I wouldn't steer away from this story.

Great werewolf book outside of the fact that it seems like they constantly reference things I’m assuming happened in a previous book? When I run a search there is no such book, which makes me wonder if it could have used a healthy prologue in the beginning.

I’ve read 100’s of vampire novels in my time, but only this one sits up there with Stephen King’s Salems Lot

I’ve been rolling around with Mike Talbot the character for a very very very long time. I think it was this book that made me realize i May have had enough. The amount of times he survives just because of dumb luck takes it toll after 10+ books.

Narration is great, if he read all of McCammon books I would buy them all.
These are real deal vampires. Fear and repelled by religious objects type of vampires. They kill and stalk, they do not try to make you fall in love.
Up there with Necroscope in the top tiervampire stories.

For years and years and years this was only available in foreign language audiobook forms.
It was worth the wait.
The beginning was a little rough but I’ll be going back to reposted to it now that i heard the ending and heading straight to book 2 after that.
Reader did a tremendous job, I’m glad i didn’t read it but rather listened because my mind would never think to read it in the way the narrator did.
You'll find yourself saying dragozannnni along with the reader. Also ...Harry Keoh is the man. Most interesting character I read about in a long time.

It's over...I'm deeply depressed now that it's over.
I first read IT 21 Years ago when I was in highschool. The last few months, the Losers Club has been part of my life. I got to know everything about Bill, Bev, Stan, Mike, Ben, Eddie and Ritchie and now it's over....And that makes me sad. Probaby because I'll never get a sequel. I think I'm going to start the book up again......I'm already beginning to forget.

Good story but frustrating because main character is a lush. So she blacks out a lot. Convient plot device.
Good twists up until the final twist that is somewhat ptedicatable, though I don't think it would have been given away if I simply read it on paper.

No lovey dovey werewolves here!

Was looking for a good werewolf book, or any for that matter that didn't involve romance and half naked people on the cover.
Whelp, this is easily one of the better werewolf novels out there, kind of reminds me of silver bullet from Stephen King mostly because it deals with children as the main characters, it's a pretty gross book when the attacks happen but I found myself staying in my car when I reached my destination just to hear what happens next.
As far as the narrator, at first I was like "wtf? How will I ever understand this guy's accent" but before you know it at the start of every new section of the book I found myself saying allowed an exaggerated version of "hiiighhhmoore"
.I don't know, it will make sense after you listen to it.
