Historia
This "who's who" audio guide to the gods, goddesses, and other important figures of Norse mythology was commissioned by Helgi, who, after more than a millennium as manager of Hotel Valhalla, became fed up with answering the same questions from newly deceased heroes at check-in. The profiles provide essential stats, interviews, and personal reflections so you can identify the gods and avoid those awkward introductions. Handy facts about other beings round out this go-to audiobook.

Great background to the Norse Myths; bad narration
- De EmilyK en 11-20-16
Loved the writing, the narrator seemed a little too serious
Revisado: 10-22-17
I really love all writing by Rick Riorden, but I have to say that the narrator made the casual, humorous story a little too serious for my taste. The writing was great and I love the idea of teaching ancient myths in this wonderful way. But it is a better read than listen, and does not really have a storyline, so if that is what you were expecting you would be disappointed.

Celine's life is the stuff fairy tales are made of. She's beautiful, talented, and brave. Unfortunately, her tale comes complete with a wicked stepmother! When Violet steps into Celine's life, everything changes, and weird things begin to happen to her - bizarre accidents, strange illnesses, and rabid animal attacks. Celine doesn't feel safe anywhere. It's almost as if some hateful witch is out to get her.

It was pretty good, just not a book that I would listen to over and over again

I really loved this amazing book the first Rome I read it, but I could not read it again. The story is fine, but I think that the introduction to Violer, at the beginning, was way to long, and I LOVE goose, but didn't really like the part of the story on his POV. Still loved the story though.

Historia
Harry Potter has never even heard of Hogwarts when the letters start dropping on the doormat at number four, Privet Drive. Addressed in green ink on yellowish parchment with a purple seal, they are swiftly confiscated by his grisly aunt and uncle. Then, on Harry's eleventh birthday, a great beetle-eyed giant of a man called Rubeus Hagrid bursts in with some astonishing news: Harry Potter is a wizard, and he has a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. An incredible adventure is about to begin!

One of my favorite series in the world!!!
Revisado: 04-27-17
I love this series/world/author. The book's idea is just so..... can I say..... Magical? The characters are pretty well developed. The only part I didn't like was the part when his classmates naively shun them (BTW Spoiler alert) but it was an important part of the story. I have read all of the books in this series and am sort of obsessed with them. All and all, I LOVED IT. I swear, I listen to this audio book before I go to sleep at night, every night. AMAZING!😁😁

Historia
This stunning debut captures the grotesque madness of Underland, as well as a girl’s pangs of first love and independence. Alyssa Gardner hears the whispers of bugs and flowers - precisely the affliction that landed her mother in a mental hospital years before. This family curse stretches back to her ancestor Alice Liddell, the real-life inspiration for Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Alyssa might be crazy, but she manages to keep it together. For now.

LOVE IT!!!
Revisado: 04-24-17
I don't have that much to say except IT WAS AMAZING!!! Anyone considering downloading this book should just do it, don't read any other reviews, just buy it. It is an amazing story based (sort of) on Alice in Wonderland. This is an amazing gothic romance novel with just the right amount of action.

Amazing ending, but seemed like a bit of a filler
Revisado: 02-22-17
I loved the ending and the bits of action, but to me, some of it seemed like a filler. But it was amazing how the author kept you on the edge of your seat and how everything was strung together perfectly.
