The horrible narration. Ok story

Absolutely hated the narration. Mis-spoken words, irregular pauses and tone was just terrible. The ai narration with this book does the author a disservice of their work.

AI does not allow for human inflections while speaking. It makes the story monotone.

A different view of aliens and how they could interact I enjoyed the plot. I’ll continue to read to see which other types of species they interact with I’m intrigued thus far.

I don’t usually review but this is good I cant wait til the third installment of the series. I would be great to see the fathers story and some of the other darling stories in upcoming books

The story was good. I like the individual series that can be stand alone or part of the series.
The narration was not the best I’ve heard my a large margin. The audible pauses and open ended sentences were frustrating. Using executioner instead of executor throughout the story additionally irritating. Maybe the narrator is a family member or friend is why she continues to use her I’m baffled. Or maybe the contract is iron clad pitiful. There are so many other narrators they could really capture the reader and enhance the writers message.

The story was good ended on a cliffhanger though. The way the narrator uses inflection and tone is very off putting. Clipping g sentences maki g them seem as a question if I bought this book I’d be upset. Since it’s in The subscription I suffer through it because I like the writer.

Okay I enjoy Vanessa’s books the narration that Kylie Stewart does the book has to be in my subscription to listen for free. The way she ends her sentences like there is a question is frustrating. Her inflection and tone while reading does not add excitement to the story, for me. But this is for any story she does the narration leaves me with the same feeling.

It took me u til the middle of the third book to get I to the series I’m glad it was with my subscription. The constant use of bitches for everyone was redundant and distracting. It takes a bit to get use to British terns.

Plot was good

The plot was good it was a interesting twist to it. The voices used for the female characters were extremely annoying. Understanding they were teenage girls was not an excuse for the horrific screeching voices. It made a battle not to fast forward through them. Otherwise it was good.
