Historia
Diapered for Pay is the story of a young woman who is struggling to get by when a wealthy man offers her a great deal of money to spend a week as his sexual servant. She accepts the offers, knowing it means a week of humiliation, pain, and sex with a stranger. She didn't expect to be kept in diapers the entire week without bathroom privileges. Even worse are the public outings with clothing that only accentuated her thick diapers. After a week of this humiliating treatment, however, she begins to have a different opinion of her situation. Will she decide to stay on or leave this week behind...

Nearly a perfect read (listen)
Revisado: 09-08-22
Loved the history and story for the most part. Major parts are based on historical fact with some creative licenses being taken. I really enjoyed this book until near the end when out of nowhere, one of the main characters "Wash", short for Washington comes out of nowhere and states that he was gay in earlier years. This had absolutely nothing to do with the story and wasn't based on any historical fact at all. It was obviously added as a "filler" to make some demographic happy. If it wasn't this this blatent stuffing of content, I would have given it 5 stars across the board. There was no reason to add that part to the story, it didn't fit and wasn't called for at all.

Historia
In the early morning of June 1, 1921, a White mob marched across the train tracks in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and into its predominantly Black Greenwood District - a thriving, affluent neighborhood known as America's Black Wall Street. They brought with them firearms, gasoline, and explosives. In a few short hours, they'd razed 35 square blocks to the ground, leaving hundreds dead. The Tulsa Race Massacre is one of the most devastating acts of racial violence in US history. But how did it come to pass?

Not sure accurate
Revisado: 02-14-22
Story had good use of facts until the "afterward". The afterward was so political and nothing to do with the Tulsa race riots, I am not sure why it was included. The afterward made the question the entire book.

In the PLEX should be called In the GOOGLE.

I loved this book, I had no idea how google got started and the interworking of it. Steven Levy does a great job covering the beginning through the time of printing. Makes me like google so much more.

Historia
Steven Levy's classic book traces the exploits of the computer revolution's original hackers - those brilliant and eccentric nerds from the late 1950s through the early '80s who took risks, bent the rules, and pushed the world in a radical new direction. With updated material from noteworthy hackers such as Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Richard Stallman, and Steve Wozniak, Hackers is a fascinating story that begins in early computer research labs and leads to the first home computers.

I love reading Steven Levy books. Hackers is one of those books. I teach Cyber Security and Computer Info Tech and this books makes so much sense. It really helps to know the beginnings and how the field evolved. I highly recommend this book.
