It's a very good narration. Apparently it's narrated by AI but it's incredibly natural. You can't tell.

Historia
Marx and Engels were right when they observed in the Communist Manifesto that free markets had in a short time created greater prosperity and more technological innovation than all previous generations combined. A century and a half later, all the evidence shows that capitalism has lifted millions and millions from hunger and poverty. Today's story about global capitalism, shared by right-wing and left-wing populists, but also by large sections of the political and economic establishment, does not deny that prosperity has been created, but it says it ended up in far too few hands.

A globalist liberal applauding capitalism
Revisado: 11-03-23
The author who openly considers himself as a globalist liberal provides facts showing capitalism beat socialism. I thought in 2023 that was not news. He's ok with open borders, China's hyper growth and thinks people seeking their identity (patriotism and nationalism) is awful. I doubt he truly understands capitalism and the underlying humanity leading to its success. He should get out of academia, become an entrepreneur, start a company then write the 2nd edition. If like me you took the book because Elon musk talked about it, you may be disappointed just like me.
I rarely review books but capitalism is sacred for me and I don't like it when it's misrepresented.
