Gut wrenching But Awesome!

I have one question, where was the phone records? I understand a book has to be done and I understand that only his brother knew the truth. But come on the phone records could have been subpoenaed. It doesn't matter if you erase your phone number or change it or delete it. The phone companies will go back years and pull text messages. It is very crazy to think that for 4 years that they've been together, there was no incriminating evidence to at least prove that that boy was gay and that he was his boyfriend. What are the odds also that they did not take any selfies do anything with their phones together. I understand his dad may have been the mayor but that is crazy. evidence was somewhere. secondly, what mayor do you know that don't have any kind of cameras? cuz I know they had to be out together the ring doorbell samson. aAlso, if they had checked the phone records they would have seen that he called right before the boy came over. they would have saw who called who. so again this is BS. And even though I know that whole scene look bad, they're are people that are masochists because BDSM do exist even if the boys were too young to understand what type of play they were doing. people like to act like some people don't like that or maybe that they're too young. there's a lot of people that love pain. But I am happy for the vindication, But this has even open up my eyes as a reminder that just because you are convicted of a crime, don't mean you're guilty. I am convinced that there are many innocent people that are in jail, But just did not either have good lawyers or the evidence was stacked against them or people just flat out lied. And we have to stop automatically assuming because someone has been convicted of something that they're automatically guilty. Big lessons to be learned. But I cried through this whole book. please do not try and listen to this at work.

Felt like a cheating story

This story would have been so perfect if 70% of it did not felt like they were cheating.
spoiler- although we the reader knew that Jule was his mate, Liam did not. so to warn Liam off of the Duke and to warn the Duke off of Liam to only spend the next 70% of the story with him being inappropriate and touching and having sex behind his brother's back with the Duke just rub me the wrong way. I didn't like how they made Liam role look so weak and stupid to not see way early on all the inappropriate scent touching and disappearance. Liam was still willing to bring all three of his brothers and marry someone in hopes of falling in love with them later. Regardless of whether it was shallow, he thought it was going to happen when all along. his younger brother is sleeping with his soon-to-be fiance. It don't matter how they try and portray this in the story. It was sick and twisted and it felt like betrayal because it was. If they were doing nothing wrong then why did they keep it from him? why did they hide it?. just because they were not officially engaged. didn't make what they were doing okay. Even if a sibling know that you are dating someone whether you are in love or engage doesn't make it right for your sibling to be sleeping with the man you are currently dating because courting is dating.

for this I had to give the story a lower score. The first one was much better, And this one would have beat the first one. in my opinion had all this was not done behind his brother's back.

This was a great book but not for faint heart. The level of obsession was crazy. hopefully people in real life knows the difference between love and unhealthy Obsession. When people do not want you to have friends or anyone else in your life but them. RUN!

same old smut scenes

I am not saying that was not okay. I do understand dark romance. And I love smut scenes but there has to be more. when the scenes are back to back and there's no growth from the scene the female always gives in and if she don't, she's punished, It becomes a wash rinse repeat situation. with the scenes only happening in the his chamber And no other couples being intimate are joining in. it gets to be born. because a person only can do but so many different things in a book of this length. this book could have easily been 2 hours less on time or more. Although the storyline sound interested in the future books, I don't think I'm going to invest anymore because I'm too nervous that all it's going to be is a bunch of smut scenes with little else focusing only on one couple.

This book was everything! I love how they fought for what they wanted. Live the passion, the love, the honesty. I am a female obsessed with mm books. Not sure why but I do love anything that maybe considered taboo. 🔥🔥🔥

this book was so good as far as the plot, the investigation, the humor, the suspense, the twist you will be guessing the whole time and I promise you you will not figure it out to the very end.

I loved this book, there were so many twist and intense moments. The bi-awaken was done nicely. The narrator was a 10 , please keep for book 2. This book was great from the start and worth the coins. I can't wait for book 2.

Overall good but wish more feeling behind the vampires voice.

overall the book was great, but the best voice and the voice that should have been the vampire was the demon voice. when I read the word possessive I thought it would be more angst, but if it is going to be love at first sight. the person can't be too possessive because the other person just gives him. overall it was good but I was expecting more emotion behind the read at times it did seem very monotonous. you knew when people were angry or upset but you were still the same laid back tone. I just didn't understand that .

Mental health is one thing! Being a weak man is another !

first, I want to start with a positive and say overall the book was interesting. it was great to see the perspective of Hollywood and relationships and what probably does happen behind closed doors with these high-profile relationships. it's easy to see how people can fall through their costar due to proximity. what I did not like about this story but I just made myself finish, was the week behavior and mentality of the main character. I never want to be one of those people that try and say that men don't be in abusive relationships however, she did not hold the power so it doesn't make sense that he allowed this. he knew as well as his friends told him that she was using him for publicity and of her career. it's one thing for people to stay in situations because of security, financial, blackmail, threats of being abused, children, etc. but she literally had none of that over him and he's still bend to her will. it was very frustrating because they wanted to play the mental health of him always having to be underneath someone in the fear of being alone and not having someone and having anxiety when he go out in public. But none of those explain his weak behavior when it came to his wife and standing up for himself and being a man. I'm sorry you can be needy but still put somebody in their place. you can be needy and still stand up for yourself, especially when you've already established a support group outside of that person. it just really pissed me off and I felt like the two did not go hand in hand. him having an issue with not being alone had nothing to do with the way he allowed her to treat him.

I did not like the fact that he allowed their separation to be for 15 months and was upset that hale wanted him to put an end to it. I feel at that point he was doing to hale what his wife did to him. you using someone's weakness or fear to get what you want? heal was very fearful that if he left him he would drink himself to death or commit suicide and I think that was a horrible pressure to put on someone coming into relationship that you should have been ended. and this whole promise thing news flash, she originally break the promise and vows that they made before God until death do us part and loving the person through sickness and in health. so why are you so worried about a promise when she break the original promise. and the idea of putting your mental health issues on the side for someone who you know for sure is using you is crazy because at that point he wasn't even getting the benefit of not being alone from her, he was not even with her. so what was the purpose? overall I got through the book. I like the whole Hollywood part of it and relationship part of it but the character himself it just pissed me off because once again we tried to link mental health to weakness and that's how the main character came off. how can you be in a high profile career but want to cling to a private life, that's insane. I understand wanting it but it came at the cause of your new love staying in the closet. you force yourself to be in the public for Rachel. even after knowing y'all were separated. I'm pretty sure you can force yourself to be out in the public with your new love interest to prove that this is something you want. you want this man to believe you love him but you keep putting your ex before him and to the world you are still married so if anything had leak prior he would have came off as a homewrecker and that is what could have really turned his career. because as usual people would have assumed that the gay man corrupt the married man and ruined his marriage.
