A Waste of Time & Money

The only good thing about this sob story is that it demonstrates how much time and resources are wasted on fetuses that were not meant to survive.

Billions of dollars and millions of hours are spent on the medical INDUSTRY in this country. Yes, industry. It is not a service. Medical care in this country is a Capitalist business.

Scale back the extremely expensive NICU units and use them for only viable fetuses.

As the author clearly shows, the. need for extraordinary care continues long past the infant's hospital discharge. The effects radiates throughout our society effecting school systems, home health care, jobs, businesses, and families.

I think this book is meant to be a tear-jerker. All I felt was anger.

And yes, I am a mother.

Excellent blend of action and romance

l liked the characters and the setting. Knights are one of my favorites. Excellent descriptions with enough detail that I could see it in my mind's eye. However not so much that it overwhelms or bores. Narrator maintained distinctive voices for the many characters throughout the entire book.

My biggest disappointment is that the next book in the series is not available!

The pace, depth and breadth of the story is perfect. I respect the work the author did in his research not only of Johnny's case but of the "parole system". Very well balanced between individuals stories, statistics, and the system.

However, I found the music annoying and it was at times louder than the person speaking.

The author wrote a book titled "Corrections" that I plan to listen to next based on this experience.

The excess descriptions, musing and monologs. It seemed like the author guaranteed the publisher a certain number of words and the result is more words than story.

An absolutely awesome story about music legends known and unknown .
Usually I hate music in an audio book. This is the first time I've experienced music used perfectly to enhance the story and the audio experience.
A must listen for fans of country music and unsung heroes.

Great mix of mystery, suspense, action, and humor. Extremely entertaining. I listened to the entire book in one day!

My favorite character is Duke, of course!

The narrator does a great job of creating distinct voices.
Between the descriptive prose and excellent narration, the characters have become vivid in my mind's eye.

I loved the cross-over with the author's other series!!

I can't wait for future books... what will be the impetus for Poet's wedding? Where and how will it happen? Which characters from other series take part?

SPOILER ALERT: Will the DBA allow Mystic Caravan to move permanently to Moonstone Bay?

I hope there will be at least three more books. Bundled together ❤️!

My first time with this author and he is a master storyteller indeed!
The outstanding narrator pulled me in immediately. The perfect voice for this tale.
