Historia
A winter sunrise over the great plains of Russia is no cause for celebration. The temperature barely rises above zero, and the guards at Penal Colony IK22 are determined to take their misery out on the prisoners—chief among them, one Zoya Zakharova. Once a master spy for Russian foreign intelligence, then the partner and lover of the Gray Man, she has information the Kremlin wants, and they don't care what they have to do to get it.

Moving
Revisado: 02-04-25
Mr. Jenkins has written an incredibly moving account of God’s amazing grace toward we sinners who need desperately, and fight against strongly, His overcoming love. The use of the Scripture and resulting work of the Spirit to draw lost ones to Himself brought tears and worship. Praise God for this work—His work.

Historia
Driving late at night on a rural road in North Carolina in 1948, Billy Dalton sees a fiery car in the distance. He brakes, sprints to the burning vehicle, and rescues a beaten woman and a rope-bound child just before the gas tank explodes. Later, awakening in a hospital and covered with burns, the sheriff tells Billy there was no woman, no child and no other vehicle found at the scene—only the scorched wreckage of Billy’s own car. Gradually and reluctantly, Billy accepts the story that he crashed his automobile into a tree and hallucinated the woman and the child in the trauma of the ...

Excellent story; engaging characters, in spite of very poor quality narration
Revisado: 10-08-24
This is the third virtual narration I’ve experienced, and I have now determined that I will pass up in future titles of interest if virtually narrated. There are constant mispronunciations of words and unbelievably wrong interpretations in dialogue. Awful way to read/listen to a book.

Historia
Driven by his tragic past, prosecutor Chance Meridian seeks justice for a beautiful woman brutally murdered in her own home. Except nothing comes easy in Atlanta, and certainly not justice. A lot of people in town wanted Sara Barton dead, and every single one of them is lying about something. Chance shouldn't be surprised. Murder is an ugly business. But so is love.

Historia
There’s chaos in Hollywood at the end of the New Year’s Eve countdown. Working her graveyard shift, LAPD detective Renée Ballard waits out the traditional rain of lead as hundreds of revelers shoot their guns into the air. Only minutes after midnight, Ballard is called to a scene where a hardworking auto shop owner has been fatally hit by a bullet in the middle of a crowded street party.
