Historia
Eve looks like an ordinary 12-year-old girl, but there’s nothing ordinary about her. She has no last name. No parents or guardian. She’s on the run from a dangerous and secretive organization that will stop at nothing to track her down. And most astonishing of all: she’s a robot, a product of Eden Laboratories. When Eve discovers the truth, she realizes everything she thought she knew about herself is a lie. Eve manages to escape, fleeing the lab, the only home she’s ever known.

Outstanding story — even for grownups!

I truly enjoyed listening to this story. The dramatic audio-style narration was excellent and the plot was surprising, rich, and thought provoking.

Though the shadow of their loss hangs heavy, Dylan and Erin have managed to get on with their lives, even finding bits of happiness along the way. Unpredictable plot, and engaging story!
Revisado: 12-10-24
Virtual voice will never be as great as a human narrator, but it’s pretty decent for the most part and I’m sure it makes more books available to us. This story was excellent and compelling, and if it were re-recorded, I would listen to it again. I can predict the outcome of most of the books that I read so it was fun for this one to have so many unexpected plot twists. No spoilers here, just go ahead and treat yourself to a listen!

Unpredictable, complex storyline

Really enjoyable to read! I’d love to hear it with a human narrator. Heading off to listen to more from the author: this is my second one this month.
