Author isn’t autistic, she’s just married to one. She just describe parenting ‘students’ focusing on their education phases, and she describes how something may bother an autistic parent.

I was expecting a book to receive advice as an autistic parent about on how to communicate better and improve my relationship as a dad with my whole family.

On the audiobook out of the whole 5 hours, only 1m19s were actually this, some words from her autistic husband at the end of the book telling you that you’ve got this.

The Introduction is the main idea

All the chapters are just tons of examples to explain the insight shared in the introduction

Pretty good premise and approach, but a lot of chapters just explaining the same idea over and over

The virtual narrator reads the book literally, it’s not curated as a standalone audiobook, there’s no PDF so you don’t know what is the author talking about every time he refers to a “Figure 4.1”

Felt like 2023 wrap up rather than 2024 forecast

Everything mentioned is already here in 2023, some articles were pretty interesting but still I was expecting more predictions than a recap only format

The speech felt AI generated but at 2X you can lose that sensation

Not a self-help nor motivational book

DNF. Is her story on how she grew up up her company, that’s it. She tells about all the common problems that she went into, problems just like yours or mine

Felt like a “Dear diary…” format, good for her but not necessarily something for everyone to read or learn from

DNF, I made it to Chapter 4 though

This could be an 8min youtube video with a 5min of examples included and you may or may not hit the Like button

The author is very condescending towards their readers, he is successful and every reader is wasting his time watching tv, without hope or goals, all a bunch of losers because they don’t have experienced what he has done

He throws the phrase “I made a lot of money when I was 24 and then at 28 I made 50M” at the beginning, I’m guessing to try to validate his stuff?

His main take is that a 25 usd tshirt costs 116usd because those 25 invested at 8% year rate would result in 116usd iver 20 years

Of course his examples are all fairy tales and hypothetical stories to support his beliefs, he brags about bmws, mercedes, everything is wealth for him, he did mention one time that he in real state (maybe he just got lucky)

The only good thing about his advices is when he quotes John Maxwell a couple of times, so, yes, I’ll recommend you to spend your money on a Maxwell book instead

Really a waste of time, I can’t relate to the other reviewers that grade this with more than 2 stars

The performance is great, you can easily hear it at 2.0x (even stretched out to 2.3x)

This should be the ‘new normality’ everyone’s talking about

This is gold. You truly end up with a shifted mindset even though you were already an isolated disruptor in your company. More than 10+ real cases explained around all mayor companies: Amazon, Adobe, Southwest Airlines, Google, Huawei, Nokia, to name a few. Don’t hesitate, you should hear/read this.
