Virtual Voice is annoying but the content was nice

I just passed the BCETMB last week! I used this audio book, an online anatomy subscription (KenHub), and the online practice exam on the NCBTMB website (I used this the most). I also bought the Momtrix card but I felt like they were sub-par (way too much information and jumbled into one paragraph without numbering the cards). Also, check out the outline on NCBTMB website. It is a really nice outline!
Back to the audio book! I like how Phillip did a nice review of topics. It was laid out really well and overviewed a little bit and then went deeper later in another sections. I thought it was a well thought out book. The section on what is Local verses Global Contradictions felt more subjective and needed more information before really saying It was a contra-indication for massage. Most of the time it depends on whether something is Acute verse Chronic and if the disease is stabilized. Other than that section if was a well welcomed break from reading while studying for the BCETMB. It really highlighted fact of importance in a less overwhelming way while highlighting differences for example pulmonary vein has oxygenated blood
If you are on the fence.... It is worth the purchase! Just remember it is most likely a supplement to other materials needed to pass.

Would you try another book from David Michaels and/or Claudia R. Barrett?

It would be much better if the audio came with the PDF. I have to purchase the PDF in addition to purchasing the audio.

Buy Intro Beg Span by Michel Thomas: Covers 1 & 2

Where does Michel Thomas Beginner Spanish, Lesson 1 rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I like this but it is the same as the first half of the introduction course. The second half is lesson 2. Save your money and just buy the introduction.

What other book might you compare Michel Thomas Beginner Spanish, Lesson 1 to and why?

Michel Thomas Beginner Spanish is like Pimlseur Approach but with much less repetition. Michel Thomas gives a more logical reasoning of how to speak and think in Spanish.

Have you listened to any of Michel Thomas’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes. I have listened to the introduction of Michele Thomas. Is the same as Lesson 1 and 2. Buy the Introduction series to save money,

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me happy that I found an interesting approach to learning Spanish. It is much better than just memorizing a bunch of words. He helps you form sentences through a list of frequently used words in our language we use daily.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Michel Thomas Method?

I enjoyed how he would say a word in Español and I would understand because he takes words similar in English and translates them to Español.

Which scene was your favorite?

I like Michel Thomas' accent. It makes you want to pay attention.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No it is best in sections. Started the full series and it comes with a PDF and an outline that is very nice to correlate with each lesson. It works for my attention span! 20 minutes or so for each section.

Any additional comments?

The only thing I did not like was that a beep is given after every question he asks.
