Historia
To the wider world, Al Pacino exploded onto the scene like a supernova. He landed his first leading role, in The Panic in Needle Park, in 1971, and by 1975, he had starred in four movies—The Godfather and The Godfather Part II, Serpico, and Dog Day Afternoon—that were not just successes but landmarks in the history of film. Those performances became legendary and changed his life forever. Not since Marlon Brando and James Dean in the late 1950s had an actor landed in the culture with such force.

Wonderful!
Revisado: 10-22-24
When I was a little girl I used to sit under the tree in the yard or at the kitchen table and listen to the old folks tell the stories about their lives. These stories took me to a time that didn't exist anymore. These times only existed in their memories. They would transport me to places that I could never ever go and experience. This book does the exact Same thing. It's not a book it's a conversation. It will take you to places that you could never hope to go to, as they no longer exist. Thank you for sharing your life stories Mr. Pacino.
I felt as if we were sitting at the kitchen table, and he was recounting the story of his life to me. Not reading to me, but actually telling me stories . I can't tell you how enjoyable it was. I absolutely recommend this title!

Watch out for all of the foul language

Watch out for all of the foul language
Revisado: 05-26-24
D.A. has a gift for writing exciting stories. There is action, love, intrigue, and the story moves along well. However, rather than sprinkle the foul language for a taste of realism, he forces you to try to put together the story as it peeks out from the foul language. If he could kick it down a few notches, I would definitely listen to more of his work. Cam does a great job reading the story as usual. The over use of language prevents me from giving it a clean 5 star rating.

Generally, I like the book much better than the movie. Not so much in this case. The readers did ok, and this was the first time that I had read this author. If she is a favorite for someone, then I would say that they may be disappointed by some of the readers.

Confusing tale
Revisado: 09-08-22
Expertly read! Great job Cam Not one of Jack's best efforts. Confusing and hard to follow. I had to go back and revisit where I had been, as I kept getting list. Characters changed and didn't follow the parameters set up for them in earlier books. I am sorry to say that I was disappointed.
