Historia
Out of nowhere, like a fresh breeze in a marketplace crowded with advice on what to believe, comes Byron Katie and what she calls "The Work". In the midst of a normal life, Katie became increasingly depressed. Then one morning, she woke up in a state of absolute joy, filled with the realization of how her own suffering had ended. The freedom of that realization has never left her, and now, in Loving What Is, you can discover the same freedom through The Work.

Absolutely Loved it!
Revisado: 09-19-11
His lecture was just amazing! I loved it!
He transformed somewhat boring subject into an interesting stuff. I loved his narration, his enthusiasm and his lecture.
This book will definitely help you with words, writing and grammar.
And it is not hard to understand at all, he warns you before he even mentions about any jargons and he explains really really well. He definitely has way with words!

"Years ago, I wrote about a retail store in the Palo Alto environs—a good one, which had a box of two-cent candies at the checkout. I subsequently remember that 'little' parting gesture of the two-cent candy as a symbol of all that is Excellent at that store. Dozens of people who have attended seminars of mine have come up to remind me, sometimes 15 or 20 years later, of “the two-cent candy story,” and to tell me how it had a sizable impact on how they did business."

Things that are little but not so little
Revisado: 04-19-11
I liked the narration,
in fact I always seem to enjoy the book narrated by the actual author.
Tom Peters gives us many different Little ideas that are not so little down the road,
some were obvious but when you think about it,
repetition is another excellent method of learning and putting it into practice
and some excellent ideas as well.
"Excellence Always
If not excellence, what?
If not excellence now, when?"

Between Exercise and Well, Pretty much Everything!
Revisado: 04-19-11
Spark is all about the exercise and our brain.
Dr. Ratey presents it with lots of scientific datas, which was facsinating, eye opening, and informative.
I reckon he talks about the effect of good exercise in nearly every way, from school performance, PMS, demetia, etc, etc. to addiction.
This book surely motivates me to work out, not that I have begun exercising but...
well, at least I am motivated enough to think about working out!

Awesome book! Inspiring!
Revisado: 03-27-11
I enjoyed every minute of the book, and great narration as well.
I think this book covers pretty much everything about worrying and anxiety.
Even if you are not that worried right now, this book will inspire you, help you, make you think, and
influence you. This book is just as great as 'how to win friends -'

Great Book, yet not as good as 7 habits
Revisado: 02-28-11
I loved his previous work - 7 habits of highly effective people,
I had expected something different, I guess.
However, generally speaking, I find his book very intriguing, informative, inspiring, thought provoking extremely helpful, and life changing.
I thought this book would go over the 7 habits again and add on the 8th habit,
as I had wanted to be reminded again of those,
but as the title the book focuses on the 8 th habit, apart from a brief mention about 7 habits.
The 8th habit is about "finding your voice" and "helping others to find their voice".
You could say it is a bit religious but it still gives plenty of information for you to learn.
The book was also read by the author, and I quite like his narration, easy to understand and not slow at all.
I personally think everyone can learn something out of this book,
[but I only gave a four star as I believe it is not his best work, not as good as 7 habits]
it was worth the credit.

Meditation/Self hypnosis/Visualization programme
Revisado: 01-28-11
This Activating the Law of Attraction book is a great meditation/ self hypnosis/ visualization programme.
The book has two parts, the first part is a brief introduction about the law of attraction - just 7 minutes or so - and the second part is the main one.
The main part of the book is about
1. Relaxation,
2. Visualization and concentration
3. Affirmation
( affirmation doesn't start with "I am", it goes "You are", so you don't have to repeat what the narrator says, it is like someone telling you all the good things. I really liked this affirmation. )
4. Visualization of a dream house, relationships, health, finance and life
Sometimes I doze off while listening to the book, but I am trying to listen to it once every day.
If the visualization about my goals and dreams was longer, the book would have been just perfect for me.
But I think this book helps me to visualize which is great. I also love the affirmation part as I mentioned earlier.
You can't listen to it while driving, and it is not the book that informs you about the law of attraction though it has a brief introductory part. It is for the meditation or visualiztion purpose.

Fascinating and extremely educational
Revisado: 01-28-11
I only gave a 4 star, because of the narration. Of course it was awesome that the book was read by the author, however it was very hard to concentrate. Apart from that, it was briillant.
Power VS Force is mostly about Kinesiology ( Muscle testing ), and it contains human consciousness and energy levels, power patterns and etc.
For me, I was fascinated by his work and this book kind of educated me to see the world differently. From now on I am going to watch my emotions, actions, thoughts and decisions - as I will have to be responsible for every one of them eventually - and I will try not to drop my energy level to below 200. ( level 200 is Courage, according to the book.)
I will also try to see the world, things, events, circumstances and people with the hightest possible consciousness level.

In this live lecture, Dr. Wayne W. Dyer explores intention as an all-pervading force in the universe that allows the act of creation to take place. Intention, he explains, is not something you do, but an energy you're a part of. Not only do you emanate from the field of intention, but if you align yourself to it, your desires become fulfilled and you find yourself at peace.

I want to feel GOOD!
Revisado: 01-12-11
Well, I quite enjoyed his work, his narration was brilliant,
he tells us many inspiring and thought provoking stories here and there,
which I loved very much, and he makes you laugh here and there.
So I guess this book contains wisdom, knowledge about the truth we hear about all the time,
humour, stories, and the way he delievers his message motivates you to become a better person
and also to feel good.
He also talks about infinite possibilites we possess and our connection to the force, God and etc.
If you are too religious or non religious without open mindedness,
I suppose you will not enjoy this book as much as I did.

Inspiring and awesome!
Revisado: 12-12-10
To be honest, I was a bit hesitant to get this book because of the reviews, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I was even afraid to finish the book too soon, as there were so many insightful and inspiring messages that I never wanted to miss.
I was also worried about the narration but his reading was so excellent that I couldn't stop listening.
[I realized how much we differ even if we are looking at or thinking about the same thing. ]
I now wish I read it sooner, as it would have helped me a lot with a lot of things.
I am not even married yet, I am not even spritual but this book is just perfect, you do not have to have kids or to be involved in religious stuff to understand what he has to say.
I am definately going to get his next book - the 8th habit. [no doubt at all], I can't wait!
his 7 habits and the explanations make sense, I had to agree with him all the time while I was listening, and I loved the way he conveyed his ideas with lots of explanations and examples.
You will have to listen to what he has to say before you truly understand why he is saying what he is saying, I guess.
So, I guess this book will be worth it! Just get it!
Even If you do not agree with me on this, you will later on I guess.
There are so many things to learn!!!!!!!!!!!!
