AI VOICE still destroying stories one by one.
Revisado: 10-30-24
Story not great. A mix of Aliens, The Thing, Predator, and Galaxy of Terror but in a discombobulated kind of way. Oh yeah, and the Virtual Voice still sucks. Takes too much away from an already bad story.

Not bad, but will always seem repetitive.
Revisado: 10-29-24
No matter the effort, it will take them landing on the WhiteHouse lawn before it’s really taken seriously. It will always have the stigma like that from the always past. It’s amazing the effort Luis has put forward and the lengths he’s gone to.

More stars with better AI Voice Overs
Revisado: 10-08-24
The stories were decent enough. I believe they would have been better if the voiceover wasn’t so virtually hindered. It’s mainly when it counts. Like with emotions and action.

AI bad. No more AI Voice PLEASE!
Revisado: 10-02-24
The virtual voice takes away from each and every story. You need inflection you need emotions. Without it you get a 30 something reading the Bible like a 5 year old out loud while watching cartoons. Now, there is one decent actors voice used for AIVV, but it’s not this one or the girl. They are just just horrible. Don’t get me wrong, this actors voice is nice but he’s a damn robot. The girl…ugh! Just horrendous. Sounds like she gasped helium right before every non emotional supposed emotional part and then decided to just say “screw it” and completely give up on life itself. It’s like we just fell back to 2000 virtual voice. The stories aren’t too bad well, some of them are very bad but most are good. The Garden story is “gag me with a spoon!” I hope the story wasn’t that poorly written. I can see this site messing up the editing like other stories that past authors and listeners have complained about. But hey, I’m splitting hairs, some of the stories are good on their own. So yeah, enjoy if you can. That is if you can get through AIVV3000 vocal prowess.

Historia
The day millions of people mysteriously vanished from planet earth, the world was forever changed. Oddly enough, most of us that remained thought it was a change for the better. But that was wrong… way wrong. World leaders hailed this new era as a return to the golden age. Life was supposed to be better than it had ever been. But we were just in the calm before the storm. The four horsemen of the apocalypse were waiting in the wings, and the world was rushing head long into a period of death and destruction like we had never imagined. Somehow I made it through alive… that’s ...

The second story. Very good. Still Virtual Voice a little less than can be desired. Better than the original AI voice.
Revisado: 09-19-24
This story came at a time when I needed something. Something to help and show me the way. It’s the patience of the main character that has helped me in a time of need. Helped me to remember that God and Jesus are there for us. Believe or not, it doesn’t matter. The story isn’t preaching, and it’s not pushing God on to you. It’s part of the main story and is good. We all find ourselves lost at one time or another. It’s hard to find our way out alone. Sometimes it’s just a sentence from a story or a song. Whatever helps you find your way. I thank the author. Thank you.

You might be the kind of person who wants to know what’s going on around you, but I was content just doing my job and being left alone. But sometimes life gets messy and the curtain that hides reality from most of us gets pulled back. All I can tell you is… there are some things you can’t unsee. So tread carefully. Good story Bad Voice
Revisado: 09-18-24
It’s a good story and has a lot of movement. Not too much exposition, but leaves a slight bit to be desired with the AI Voice. When there should be more or less inflection. It can and does make or break a story and how you perceive what is being read. Still a good story all together.

Terrible AI voice. Just as bad as usual.
Revisado: 09-16-24
The AI Voice can make the Wizard of Oz sound like stereo instructions. Then again I would loath to hear that. Please stop with the A.I.. It’s just the worst, and there are some very bad voice actors on here. I guess the AI isn’t so bad. No it it it is, blah. This site has gone down hill over the past 6 years. Whatever you did, you really need a reality check. And stop with the DEI. No one wants to hear political bs in books that get pushed to the top of the search engine. Enough.

Historia
My name is Gary Rendell. I'm an astronaut. When they asked me as a kid what I wanted to be when I grew up, I said, "astronaut, please!" I dreamed astronaut, I worked astronaut, I studied astronaut. I got lucky; when a probe exploring the Oort Cloud found a strange alien rock and an international team of scientists was put together to go and look at it, I made the draw. I got even luckier. When disaster hit and our team was split up, scattered through the endless cold tunnels, I somehow survived. Now I'm lost, and alone, and scared, and there's something horrible in here. Lucky me.

What an amazing story. Let me rephrase that…
Revisado: 09-13-24
The story is only 3.5 hours but it felt like an eternity. The humor was as dry as mixing baby powder with cinnamon and trying to chug it all down with one gulp. Don’t get me wrong, dry humor is awesome when successful. This was just sad.
The story gets lost in itself right off. Then it bounces back and forth trying to bring in the past and more useless humor to save its existence. Unsuccessfully. The ending was as pointless as the beginning and all the damn exposition that eats up the remains of the story.
Key points: 1. The only racism comes from the only American on the mission. 2. For some reason all American astronauts are from the dirty south and of course RACIST. 3. There are countries involved in this mission that even after hundreds of years would have never made sense, but yet there they go. 4. The British are the only ones with ideas that seem to work and everyone else is just childish banter. 5. Hundreds of years in the future, non-binary is still a thing that only the British seem to appreciate. 6. Once again, the American is a racist, bigot, that hates “them.”
Welcome to another story hell bent on white knighting, the ever present fuel of racism (but only from America) and a story line trying to mix this in to push another liberal agenda(s). I just wanted to listen to a story that didn’t try to push political bs but now I know not to listen to this author ever again.
