Historia
Nicole Lee's life is going nowhere. No family, no money, and stuck in a relationship with a thug named Bungie. But, after one of Bungie's "deals" goes south, he and Nicole are whisked away by a mysterious moth-like humanoid to a strange ship called the Fyrantha. Once aboard, life on the ship seems too good to be true. All she has to do is work on one of the ship's many maintenance crews. However, she learned long ago that nothing comes without a catch. When she's told to keep quiet and stop asking questions, she knows she is on to something.

The narration
Revisado: 01-30-25
This story was slow and pedantic. I don't care what the Characters eat at every meal. The dialog is repetitive and stupid. The female is portrayed as the typical Dumb Blond. I actually fell asleep and couldn't care less about anything I missed. This is a disappointment for Timothy Zahn. I will not follow any of the series.

Historia
The Bobiverse is a different place in the aftermath of the Starfleet War, and the days of the Bobs gathering in one big happy moot are far behind. There’s anti-Bob sentiment on multiple planets, the Skippies playing with an AI time bomb, and multiple Bobs just wanting to get away from it all. But it all pales compared to what Icarus and Daedalus discover on their 26,000-year journey to the center of the galaxy.

complexity of the science and plethora of characters.
Revisado: 09-19-24
The title should be "Lost in the Weeds". Multiple stories lines, confusing back and forth switching from one Bob to another and his offshoots. Reality jumps all over from Vitual to Vitual depending on the current person and planet. Everyone is just another iteration of someone else. Characters exist in Reality and digital virtual Reality and transition to host bodies repeatedly whenever or whoever the current Bob decides has something to ad to the convoluted twisting story lines. if you haven't listened to the previous books in the series or are not familiar with every Sci-fi movie and TV show you will miss the references and the naming choices. It was difficult to follow and if you interup the listen you will have to backtrack to grasp where you left off. The narration was good as usual, but I wouldn't recommend this book. I felt it was a disappointment in general and will not continue with the series.

This was a convoluted and disjointed disappointment.
Revisado: 06-30-24
Normally I enjoy the writing of Timothy Zahn. This was the worse I've listened to. The story was convoluted and confusing. This was largely because the narrator was not able to create much of a difference between the characters. The Spanish accents were pathetic. Every principle character seem to go on an angry, threatening rant. The behavior of the leadership from the FBI, police and military were baffonish and stereo typically painted as bullies with power issues. The president even fell into the tyrant verbally abusing the subordinates. Lots of questions about the characters back stories and motivations. Unbelievable seanarios giving the Indian bad guy omniscience fore- knowledge of the reactions and strategy of the good guys. I found this tedious to listen to and am surprised I made it to the end. Not looking forward to the writers other works. I will avoid other narrative by this narrator.

Constant use of profanity is a Lazy writers crutch.
Revisado: 06-09-24
Way too much profanity. It makes me want to stop listening. I don't want to listen on my speakers or when others can hear. The profanity is just the evidence of a lazy writer who can't convey emotions with other words. I don't recommend this book or the others in the series for readers under 18. The constant repetitive expletives conditions the use of foul language in young readers.

The enemy is poised at the border with an overwhelming invasion force, and it will take wizards, soldiers and a young, untested princess to hold off defeat long enough for Koren to be trained and grow into his power. It's a compelling story and series
Revisado: 08-14-23
An adventure with well-defined characters. I enjoyed the entire 3 book series and was pleased to find it suitable for younger readers (no use of profanity or lured sexual inuendos). It is a fast-paced midevil romp with heroes and villains exhibiting values and loyalty. This was the first series I've listened to this narrator, and I will be looking forward to other performances by him. His impeccable English-speaking accent was remarkable. He set the tone and flavor of the fantastical setting of this series. Bravo, sir! I hope he will narrate some of Shakespeare's work.

The next big thing in artificial intelligence is here. Codenamed Cronus, the machine is capable of having its own thoughts and ideas - an absolute dream come true, until it wasn’t. When Cronus responds with the word “No” to a specific task it is assigned, Anagnorisis Technologies brings in Gilles Guattari to investigate. His combined background in psychiatry, psychology, and AI research makes him their best hope in evaluating Cronus, and determining if the machine is only malfunctioning or if it has become something more.

A vulgar, profanity laced, waist of time.
Revisado: 07-29-23
How can you identify a lazy author? He fills the page with unimaginative profanity to give his characters a bit of life. This book would be half as long without the profane diatribes. Interesting concept. Terminator style Skynet A.I goes roage. The title meaning is unexplained until the end. Pandora! R.C. Bray is excellent as always, and the reason I chose the book

Pure Verbal Abuse. Absolute Crap! Read Reviews 1st
Revisado: 04-20-23
If someone spoke to you with this level of profanity you would punch them in the teeth! For some reason, I'm not able to return this piece of trash. Probably because too many other people have returned it. If you enjoy incessant verbal abuse then this is the book for you. This is an example of a lazy writer with a limited vocabulary and a disdain for his readers. Sadly, Ray Porter lends his voice to this abomination. As of now, I am Done with anything written by Dennis E. Taylor and Narrated by Ray Porter. This book was an utter waste of time and money. There is nothing of value in it and I found it impossible to continue listening to it. I am embarrassed to have it in my library. I will never be recommending Denis E, Taylor, and Ray Porter to anyone. This type of F-bomb-laden vomit gives Audible a lousy reputation especially since it is "Only From Audible".

The ship’s weary crew wonders what they will do with their lives in peacetime, but the enemy has other plans, and there is danger on the Homefront. Starring Zachary Quinto, R.C. Maddox eventually found a Builder potential unit, and they resolved to work together. But the unit betrayed him and then Victory.
