Did this poor guy even get to finish one answer? You three cannot get out of your own way for 30 seconds to let him finish a thought before you interrupt to ask another question or make a stupid quip. I have not listened to a celebrity episode of Smartless for quite a while now, but I was excited to listen to this one, because it was back to a smart person being interviewed, and you guys just ruined it. The guest is the important part of the show. The schtick that you three perform got old a long time ago.

I just found this podcast and was so disappointed. These women went into watching this movie with such negativity, there was no hope that they were going to enjoy it. They obviously paid little attention to the movie, they didn't catch things that my 8 year old self caught in 1977. I was going to listen to the watch along, but after hearing this episode, I won't be. I love Star Wars, (but am not a super super fan) so hearing these people talk was very frustrating. They talk like the movie was made last year, not nearly 50 years ago. The hosts had no attention span and little comprehension while watching the movie. One of them admitted to yawning in the first 30 minutes. The guest was bad as well. It was labeled as Episode 4 in the first line of the crawl! I saw that the first time I saw the movie and wondered why I had never heard of the first 3 episodes! He says that not everyone loved the movie, which obviously is going to be true for any movie. What he/they failed to mention was it was the first movie to reach $200 million at the box office and was nominated for a Best Picture Oscar. It's a shame that there was so little research done before or after seeing the movie. Maybe look into why it is such a cultural icon, why the were blocks-long lines to see it in 1977, how this movie changed moviemaking. The premise of this podcast is a very good one, but I won't be continuing to listen or subscribe.

This guy is such a clown. What a load of shit. Don't believe anything you've ever been told, but believe everything I say, because I can "prove" it. I'll listen to the astrophysicists, astronomers and people who have actually been to space, not this fast talking schyster.

Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy the podcast. I
It is very entertaining. My problem is that when the podcast first started, the hosts said that the purpose was to bring on guests that were smarter than them, and educate the hosts and the listener. Hence the name...Smartless. It has since devolved into a circle jerk show with nothing but the host's actor friends. What happened to the scientists, politicians and even chefs and sports figures?
