AI Narration Needs MUCH Improvement!

The story might have been enjoyable, but the AI narration killed it for me. It was like chewing cardboard and trying to convince yourself it's a ribeye steak. No voice variations (pitch/pace) or inflections to convey importance, emotions or meaning.
AI narration still has a long, LONG way to go before it can adequately emulate a real voice actor...

Really, really good!

It took a little while to settle in, but it turned into a wild ride. There are some really dark undertones and a bleak outlook for humanity's future. Less than 1,000 humans remain alive aboard ancient floating airships circling the earth, with the Hell Divers scavenging the radioactive surface for equipment and supplies necessary to keep the floating death traps aloft...
I'm glad to have found and started this series with seven books/audio books already published. That means I won't have to wait for the next one to come out!

WORST Narration Ever!

I'm amazed at the narrator's absolutely horrific performance. His flat, monotone, delivery completely killed any possibility of enjoying the story. Instead, the listener is subjected to a cold, lifeless mess; devoid of vocal inflection, emotion or character differentiation.
I buy a LOT of audio books, but this was the first one by this particular narrator. Unfortunately, it is the WORST narration I've ever heard. I really wanted to like the story line, but the performance made it impossible...
