A interesting sort of primer on survival in story format.
I am unsure if the author intended for it to be a very basic "how to" but it frames a lot of good information with out coming across like a technical manual.
Each point could defiantly be expanded upon, but I think that is left to the reader to pursue.
If your into prepper survival stories, this one might click with you.
Bray's performance in this one reminds me a bit of the Mountain Man series and is excellent as always.
The story is believable with characters making some bad choices to hopefully teach a lesson to the reader.
I think most of the one stars were written by ultra left woke alphabet soup types that read the title Commune and were hoping for a communist adventure, which this book is not. For those that want clarification on the the naming convention I think I can summarize it as the following:
In the series Commune, the central society is built around the idea of a "commune," where the members work together, share resources, and attempt to rebuild a society after the collapse of the old world. While it's not a endorsement of communist theory, the story does examine what happens when a society tries to operate without the modern capitalist structure, focusing on barter, cooperation and concepts of communal living.
I will be checking out the rest of the series to see how it holds up.

Meh, did not appeal to me

Interesting world concept.
Hate the MC.
Did not like the MC’s attitude or the way he was just kinda good at everything critical to the story, also too many lucky coincidences.
I am a fan of Intimate scenes, but these were bland and uninspired to the point I found it more enjoyable to skip them

The performance was good, but the writing was a bit too juvenile for my taste.
It was kind of a teenage boys space harem fantasy. It had some good concepts, but the dialogue felt like it came from a comic book, and the pacing was way off.
I think it could have been good if the author put more time into it.

Way better than expected.

Its rare that you find a story with lots of sex scenes wrapped in a well thought out story.
Fair warning if you are a strictly vanilla intimate encounter type, I do not think you will enjoy this as much.
The sex scenes (in my opinion) are done very well, not massively repetitive, feel real and relatable. I say real and relatable as opposed to something that sounds like it was lifted directly from 80's porn movies *COUGH* misty vixen*COUGH*.
The voice acting is excellent and the actors very diverse in their characters, you can easily tell which character is talking without the name be stated.
I have purchased and listened to the entire series that is available and the quality is consistent.
If you are a Cebelius and/or Prax Venterfan, I suspect this would be up your alley.
As always, all of this is my opinion. Feel free to disregard.

For me, Meh with a side of Meh,

I am more of a fan of series like Expeditionary force, the Bobiverse, ect.
The story was original, but couldn't get into the the main character or his motivations.
The characters around the MC were again (to me) ok,
Would recommend a buy on sale.
If there was a sequel I think I would probably pass.

Actually a good story

Recommended if you like: Urban fantasy harem, Cars, Stories of MC finding their place in the world.

I had been avoiding this one as the synopsis did not impress me and sounded like it was really focused on racing and motor-head themes, both of which I have no interest in,
But gave it a shot and was pleasantly surprised. For me it had a good mix of story and erotica that I felt was in good balance.
The story had some originality and interesting takes on similar genres.
I found the voice acting to be very good, with a good range of character expression.

Woke - A sad end to a promising series

Couldn't get but a couple chapters in before the wokeness drove me out.
Wish I could return it but that does not appear to be an option
