Historia
The darkest secrets stay hidden. Wraith, seeking to acquire intel on the mysterious Kill Team Ice, finds himself teamed up with an unlikely Nether Ops ally. Zora and Garret, in pursuit of a lost friend, will have their loyalty to Captain Keel tested. And the strain on Nilo and Black Leaf continues to grow, with unexpected intensity. For all of them, the path forward is a crooked one, weaving through House of Reason loyalists, Bronze Guild bounty hunters, brutal slavers, Legion operators, and the mysteries now emerging from the empty and foreboding space beyond galaxy’s edge.

Always excited for a new installment. I enjoyed RC's new gun sound effects. Albeit I miss the old DAT DAT DAT.

Pretty much a return to form. Just about every character gets time one way or another and they even managed to reintroduce characters I was not expecting at all!
I got answers to questions I had, and now I have new questions that need answering! Can't wait for the next book!

Historia
The West has been devastated by epidemics, bio-terrorism, war, and famine. Asia has shut its borders to keep the threats at bay, and some with power and influence have already abandoned Earth. Now an escape route a century in the making - the Nomad mission - finally offers hope to a small town and a secret research centre hidden in a rural American backwater. Shrouded in lies and concealed even from the research centre's staff, Nomad is about to fulfil its long-dead founder's vision of preserving the best of humanity to forge a new future. But who decides who's worthy?

A War of Morals
Revisado: 09-29-20
It's a real shame some of the reviews take the opinion of saying "This is not Galaxy's Edge." They could not be more wrong...
There is editing issues sprinkled into the audio, that would be my only gripe with quality of the book.
Don't trust the bad reviews on this one, the story is amazing and thank you Karen for contributing to the GE universe in this fashion. Clearly the right person for this era of the story. Can't wait for the rest!

Historia
The war for the fate of mankind blazes on. Though the outer defences have fallen, the walls of the Palace itself remain inviolate as Rogal Dorn, the Praetorian of Terra himself, uses every known stratagem and ploy to keep Horus' vast armies at bay. In Perturabo, the Traitor siegebreaker, Dorn faces an adversary worthy of his skill. A terrible, grinding attrition ensues. The crucial battle for the Lion's Gate spaceport is at the heart of this conflict. With it in their possession, the Traitors can land their most devastating weapons on Terran soil. Dorn knows it must not fall.

I need book 4 now!
Revisado: 03-08-20
There are some slow bits here and there, I struggled with the love scene, it felt out of place. And because it felt out of place I did not have the emotional attachment that I probably should have had, but I thought the end of that arc of the story in the book went well and left me with a dropped jaw! That's my only reason for 4 stars though.
Keeble as always delivers, everything else came off fantastic, and it ended with the return of one of my favorite characters! Book 4 please! :)

Historia
Censured at the Council of Nikaea for his flagrant use of sorcery, Magnus the Red and his Thousand Sons Legion retreat to their homeworld of Prospero to continue their use of the arcane arts in secret. But when the ill-fated primarch forsees the treachery of Warmaster Horus and warns the Emperor with the very powers he was forbidden to use, the Master of Mankind dispatches fellow primarch Leman Russ to attack Prospero itself.

I'm the only person who likes Martyn Ellis?
Revisado: 12-01-19
But really... I'm only posting this because of how many reviews I see on people bashing Ellis. I concede the nasal sound he has. But it is not unpleasant to my ears. I appreciate the drama he puts in the narrating. He is one of the better narrators the Black Library has employed and I think he especially fits great in the 40k, overly dramatic, space opera. I loved his dopey version of Horus in the abridged audio books from the original trilogy, which is probably another unpopular opinion.

Historia
After seven years of bitter war, the end has come at last for the conflict known infamously as the Horus Heresy. Terra now lies within the Warmaster’s sights, the Throneworld and the seat of his father’s rule. Horus’ desire is nothing less than the death of the Emperor of Mankind and the utter subjugation of the Imperium. He has become the ascendant vessel of Chaos and amassed a terrible army with which to enact his will and vengeance. But the way to the Throne will be hard as the primarch Rogal Dorn, the Praetorian and protector of Terra, marshals the defences.

A perfect beginning to the end
Revisado: 06-29-19
If it's your first time through the book, my recommendation would be to have a pencil and some paper handy so you can keep track of what the location is. There is a lot of hopping around and it can become a bit confusing. But as long as keep notes for the first couple of chapters everything will fall in line very well.
It is a tough job giving the reader a sense of scale for how large the space battles were, but French does well at giving life to them, and not getting drug down in them either. For lack of a better expression, he picked his battles wisely!
