Historia
Rob Delaney is a comedy superstar. But if you’re ever watched him steal scenes as Peter in Deadpool 2, binged his streaming series Catastrophe, encountered his raunchy and mischievous Twitter presence, or witnessed the hilarious and painful sharing he does in his stand-up, you already know that. In his first book, he traces his journey from middle-class theater geek to public menace to devoted family man and passionately engaged model citizen.

Historia
In his early 20s, Curtis Jackson, known as 50 Cent, rose to the heights of fame and power in the cutthroat music business. A decade ago, the multi-platinum selling rap artist decided to pivot. His ability to adapt to change was demonstrated when he became the executive producer and star of Power, a high-octane, gripping crime drama centered around a drug kingpin's family. The series quickly became "appointment" television, leading to Jackson inking a four-year, $150 million contract with the Starz network - the most lucrative deal in premium cable history.

Truly a work of art
Revisado: 10-10-16
What made the experience of listening to The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao the most enjoyable?
I do not read fiction because [insert lame excuse]. But there is nothing like a good fiction book. I am Hispanic and fluent in both English and Spanish so I was able to have my mind blown by the entertaining jokes and cursing in both languages throughout the book. I loved it. It was refreshing. The audiobook narrators did a fantastic job. Truly a work of art.

Disappointed
Revisado: 06-23-16
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
Everything stated seemed obvious to me. Either I know all of these concepts because other authors borrowed from his work or this is a compilation of unoriginal insights.
What didn’t you like about Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi’s performance?
Furthermore, it was unfortunate that the author decided to narrate this book because he was terrible at it.

Historia
Creativity, Inc. is a manual for anyone who strives for originality and the first-ever all-access trip into the nerve center of Pixar Animation - into the meetings, postmortems, and “Braintrust” sessions where some of the most successful films in history are made. It is, at heart, a book about creativity - but it is also, as Pixar cofounder and president Ed Catmull writes, “an expression of the ideas that I believe make the best in us possible”.

Amazing Book
Revisado: 05-14-16
What did you love best about Creativity, Inc.?
This is one hell of a book. I had low expectations but oh boy was I wrong. Listening to Ed talk about leadership, managing talent, fostering a creative culture, working with Steve Jobs and with the people from Disney is super interesting and full of insight that can be applicable to any organization. If you are a fan of Pixar movies you will certainly enjoy the many examples of the films mentioned. The struggles and the successes. I must point out that the narrator Peter Altschuler knocks it out of the ballpark with his voice style and way of reading this book. Amazing choice of narrator. I strongly recommend this book.

He was Amazing.
Any additional comments?
One of the best books I have ever read. This is a not a typical BULLSHIT “you can do it” book. Oh no, this guy tells it like it is. The author talks about the mindset that lead the greats to accomplish greatness. Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Larry Bird, Tiger Woods. He calls them Cleaners… I call them Beasts. Such a refreshing read and the narrator in this audiobook just KILLED IT. He knocked it out of the ballpark with the way he tells you the differences between coolers, closers and cleaners. This book is a true gem and I will recommend it to everyone that I care about.

The concepts explained here are truly a guide on how to live a life. I believe that relationships are at the core of everything, and Mr. Ferrazzi did a phenomenal job by putting together all these concepts, ideas, and action plan to make the best out of our ability to interact with people.
I am convinced that if i put to practice everything thought here, i would be successful.
