Historia
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

On my top ten best books of all times list. A must read that can save multitudes of lives.
Revisado: 02-20-23
I wish I had this book back when I was in High School and college. It would have likely saved me from mentally, emotionally, financially and what started to become physically abusive relationships. I’m now 37 and all the wiser for what I went through, with Bill’s story and background on domestic violence putting words to what I went through and giving me clarity for what to look out for in the future. I plan to get the physical copy of this for my daughter and her friends as they enter High School. I know it will have potential to save them from much of the heartache and danger I went through myself. It was engaging, emotional, compelling and full of inspiration all in one. Can’t recommend this enough. On my top 10 recommended books list of all time list.

Historia
From his rapid-fire stand-up comedy riffs to his breakout role in Mork & Mindy and his Academy Award-winning performance in Good Will Hunting, Robin Williams was a singularly innovative and beloved entertainer. He often came across as a man possessed, holding forth on culture and politics while mixing in personal revelations - all with mercurial, tongue-twisting intensity as he inhabited and shed one character after another with lightning speed. But as Dave Itzkoff shows in this revelatory biography, Williams’ comic brilliance masked a deep well of conflicting emotions and self-doubt.

Wonderful tribute to the full man Robin Williams both was while he was living as well as heartfelt in the relevance he still has on hearts today. Excellent journalism and storytelling that makes Robin’s character come alive. You’ll laugh, cry and relate to all of the stories told.
