I truly enjoyed this book. I took down notes that I will and have already been using to prepare my spirit and mind. I am thankful for this book. I will again sit down and write out the devotionals questions and take more notes. Thank you so much to the author who wrote this book for us!! It’s a blessing to have had this at our fingertips to read and study. God bless him and everyone who reads it. Amen.

So much stood out!!

I loved this audiobook and I enjoyed the narrator, Ms. Lisa Renee Pitts, thank you so much for your tone and delivery of the authors words. You brought them to life!! I could hear, see and understand what was being said. I took so many notes.
The book was great!! There’s no way that someone can read it and not experience or want change. Point, blank, period. Priscilla Shirer, writes from a personal perspective, it was down to earth with much revelation in how we see, feel, think and do things without thinking about Gods plan and reasoning behind them. This book allowed me to learn and listen to, it allowed me to take down very good, descriptive notes. The acronyms for PRAY and PRAYER was very nice. It makes you want to incorporate it into your prayers bc idk about y’all but I want and need ALL my prayers to get lifted in supplication and answered and come to pass, whatever is in His plan for me. This audiobook prompted me to her book FERVENT, which means passion!! I have completed chapter 1 and from that and this audiobook, I am not moving forward UNTIL I get my prayer strategy in place and gain the minimum understanding bc Fervent is a building on top of what you learn book. I’m blessed I circled back to her bc about 1 year ago I was like idk about her, but God. Her passion for Jesus Christ is so nice to see, hear and read.

I loved this book. Even though it’s audio it’s great to put on and hear in my ear rather than music or my own thoughts because if you’re reading this book then you understand what I mean when our thoughts get to taking over. It took about a week to listen to it bc I started then stopped a lot. This week coming up I’ll be reading it again but this time around I plan to take notes. I am started to mentally and physically speak out of my mouth the following when I get too much on my mind or when I get fussy, irritated, anxious, frustrated, you know…ALL the feelings and emotions that keeps me down and sidetracked.
“I take captive of my thoughts and I am submitting and surrendering them to my Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. When I am empty, He fills me up. He satisfies me. Thank You, Amen”
I just keep saying it until I don’t anymore. I then turn on a Christian audio or worship music to keep me focused bc the enemy is indeed working to get my thoughts back on the negative.
