Frustrating love story

I am reading all of Michelle Madows's books in order and this series is by far the most irritating love story 😅. I think it's more of a Stockholm syndrome story. Damians the worst. He put her under a love spell, trapped her, then was always mad at her, playing the victim and she was always acting like the guilty party like she owed him something. Same thing with Blaze and Morgan. Morgan did not owe him the knowledge of her past, she just met the guy. Neither girl ever stood up for themselves. It was so frustrating. I thought for sure, some point in the story Amber was going to come to the realization that she was being controlled and manipulated and blast Damian to a pulp... nope... Stockholm syndrome. 😂

Amaze! Amaze! Amaze!

loved this book from the first page to the last. Also, it is narrated by one of my favorites. Highly recommend Project Hail Mary. Even if you are not a sci-fi person, you will love it. Science, drama, comedy, fear, excitement... all emotions wrapped into one awesome book.

Unexpected

loved it. Very exciting story that I thought was going to be one thing when it started, but twisted and turned into a completely unexpected story that did not disappoint.

New Favorite!!

This book was so exciting from beginning to end. The narrator is perfect for this book and he does an awesome job keeping each voice distinct. Can't wait to read the next one in the series.

I've hit a wall

Unfortunately, I have to stop listening at chapter 10. I'm lost, can't pay attention and keep the story straight with the new narrator. I will attempt to finish the series reading it, but it's not likely since I don't have time to get significant amounts of reading done. There are a lot of books left, it could take me a very long time. Audible allows me to multitask and listen.

narrator change trauma

I am so upset that the narrator changed. I was so invested and loved listening. So invested into the characters created by the original narrator. Now, I don't know if I can finish listening to the books. The new narrator completely changed the vibe of all the characters and is very "one note". I may finish the rest of the books the traditional way and read them with the memory of the characters that were originally created. Although, I will miss the speed at which I could finish these books. Other than that super disappointment, it is a good story so far.
