Soulless reader
Revisado: 04-11-25
I did enjoy the stories. However, this reader is a robot. I have tried to convince myself it is a person, but I can’t believe it. There is no emotion. There is no life. There is no heart. This is one of the worst readers I’ve ever heard. I truly hate robot voices. They destroy the listening pleasure. This is the last book I will ever buy with a robot reader. Truly dreadful.

Revisado: 05-30-23
This is an excellent book and well worth your time. Simple easy to understand instruction with several powerful exercises. I’ve never tried breathing left versus right. I’m gonna have to take some time and do that. I’ve also never tried to breathing from my entire skeletal system at once. This is probably my favorite part of the book. It felt amazing. I have practiced pranayama yoga for more than 20 years. What a treat to learn some new things.

Revisado: 04-07-21
I expected something useful. This is nothing more that history, think ancient aliens. The words “plan for humanity” implies something useful in spirituality and human evolution. On this account, very disappointing. Although, had I been looking for this info, the lack of pdf is criminal. Buy the book in paper! As for the reader, zero stars. He down talks with a moan after every single point making his personal tick not only incredibly annoying, but difficult to follow. I will NEVER buy another book narrated by him.

Historia
Jesus was a man of few words, simple words, and a deeply challenging message. However, through the years his words and message have been clouded with additions and retractions. How can we possibly know the words he spoke? What were his original teachings? Where did his message stop and the many changes begin? Hidden in the gospels themselves are the source materials containing the original message preached by Jesus. Before the gospels were written, there were proto-gospels, notes, lists, and collections of sayings used to construct the gospels we have today.

I gave this three star simply because it is fine. I was really hoping for something more user-friendly and with commentary. The commentary was brief. I think I would like this better if I had a hardcopy.

Perhaps no figure in biblical scholarship has been the subject of more controversy and debate than Mary Magdalene. Although she is discussed in the gospels of Philip, Thomas, Peter, and Bartholomew in the collection of writings known as the Gnostic gospels that were rejected by the early Christian church, there is no better insight into this mysterious and influential woman than Mary's own gospel.

Millennial Hospitality is not like any other audiobook you may have heard about aliens. You will find out many new things such as the answer to the question, "Where do the children of aliens play?" This audiobook is about friendship, romance, and terror and is based on the true life experiences of the author, who claims he is not an alien.

WOW! I listened non-stop!
Revisado: 10-20-19
Okay, so Charles is not a writer and could use an editor. And, Charles is not an actor or professional reader. That being said, I actually liked the rawness of this book and I appreciate the story being told in the man's own voice and not over dramatized by a pro.
As you can see from my ratings the reduction of stars for story and performance in no way reduced the over all book. I can't wait to finish this review to move on to the next book in the series.
This is a true story of a man who worked "with" real live aliens. No joke. The way he wrote the book makes it easy to understand the progression and relationships with the military brass, enlisted and the aliens. I have been lucky in my life to have met many people who have taken part in reverse engineering, been to area 51, and someone who was peripheral to the alien autopsy. I am overjoyed at this new information on aliens and UFOs. We, all of us, need to know the truth. I am hoping, with all this information coming out, our government will be forthright. I was swept away . . .
Revisado: 07-30-19
I just loved this book. I started it on my last day of a long 4 day drive and was immediately captivated. I am so surprised at the negative comments but it is true if you stop reading before you are passed half way there is no hint of what is to come from the title. Since I was promised a "Thinking woman" I was determined to find her. And find her I did. I was swept away by Nora's determination and resolve. I, as a thinking woman, could relate to Nora's frustration from the onset with struggles to finish her doctorate, to breaking out from mind control, to making the best out of an impossible situation, until finally discovering the truth of her heart and strength. I love "Real Magic" and what that means. It took a long time to get to that in the book but well worth the wait. When I got home from the road I started painting a bedroom in my home so I could continue listening undisturbed. Sadly, I finished the book but not yet the room. If there is any disappointment here it is that this new author has not yet published the sequel. I am hoping for many more to come. Keep writing Emily and I will keep listening. You have a fan in me.

An American girl finds her prince in this "fun and dishy" (People) royal romance inspired by Prince William and Kate Middleton. American Bex Porter was never one for fairy tales. Her twin sister Lacey was always the romantic, the one who daydreamed of being a princess. But it's adventure-seeking Bex who goes to Oxford and meets dreamy Nick across the hall - and Bex who finds herself accidentally in love with the heir to the British throne. Nick is wonderful, but he comes with unimaginable baggage.

like getting a tooth drilled without novocaine
Revisado: 05-29-19
I liked the way this book started. The author barrows liberally from the history of love from the royals of Britain. It was fun and intriguing. Then . . . the entire tone of the book shifts. It becomes painful.
It seems to become what we hate most about Russian literature. It goes on FOREVER with agony, torment, and self pity much like having a tooth drilled without novocaine. I don't understand how, with all that wallowing, the lead female had a friend or family member to talk with or why I had to endure it. Hey! I don't. I fast forwarded over LARGE parts of this book to get back to something, anything else.
The bit about citizenship was ridiculous. How can you marry a future King and not change your citizenship? How can you be a part of the Royal Family and not be a citizen of that country? This part of the book just made me mad. I hate stupidity. I was yelling at the car radio. Get real. This would never, could never, and should never be a thing. You don't want to be a part of your husband/King's country then don't marry him. Your job would be as Queen!! Really really hated this and feel like giving one star because of it . . .
Truth be told, had I read the review for this book before I bought it I wouldn't have purchased it in the first place. But, since I did I had to find out if it was as bad as the reviews said.
The author had a good idea (aside from the citizen thing). The ending was okay but it fell flat. The big tragedy here is this book could have been saved. The editor fell down on the job. Perhaps they lost their red pencil. Perhaps they didn't care. Or maybe this was their first gig as an editor. Anyway you look at it the author needed to do a major rewrite. Too bad it didn't happen. This book really should just disappear.

worth reading
Revisado: 05-02-19
This was not what I was looking for or expecting and to be honest I did not care for it much when I started. I was however driving my car and so I continued. Initially I thought this would be a non fiction book. I love using malas and mantra. I was worried it would be new age laws of attraction which I don't care for.
On the contrary this is a beautiful spiritual story about how the laws of the universe work. and how we draw things to ourselves. I love it and will recommend it. Thank you for adding Light and Love to the world.
