The story is fine. The ai generated narration was abysmal. The voice was inconsistent with previous Keller stories. He regularly emphasized the wrong syllable in words and did not change the emphasis of words in sentences. Doesn't anyone check these things? You're Audible and I expect much better.

I kept looking at the publication date.

I usually don't comment on books unless they are great or really bad. This book was neither of those extremes. I kept thinking that this was out of cycle somehow. It made me feel like the father of the bride who fell asleep after his 25 year old daughter's wedding rehearsal and woke up the day before her Quincianera (15 years old). Everyone is in the right time except for the reader.
On the other hand it was great when older characters who had died or moved on as part of the story suddenly popped up. Overall it was less than a Mitch Rapp story needs to be.

if you are a new diabetic, I suggest you avoid this piece. While it mentioned some foods that are diabetic friendly, it didn’t give any recipes, portions or anything else that would be substantively beneficial to a diabetic person. I wish there were someway I could get back the 35 minutes I spent listening to it.

WOW! 7 years or so since the last John Corey novel. Great characters deserve a reprise and this story was was an excellent comeback. Don't look for "literature" here. Just enjoy the story and as always, another superior performance by Scott Brick.

I think that after 20 or so years, this is the best Mitch Rapp story. At first I missed the Master Narator George Guidalll but you really can't go wrong with a Scott Brick narrative. Enjoy!
