Where is the plot?

I'm on Chapter 13 and STILL waiting for an actual plot to start. I think I'm going to give up on it though.

Narrator is annoying

This narrator needs to tone down the sarcasm. Every word drips with it, and it just grates and makes me hate this main character.

Kind of ridiculous story

The lead female is so stupid. and the kid who is supposed to be like 4 acts like a 2 year old. It's very distracting. And it's really not that interesting as soon as the main male becomes P-whipped and stops being dangerous and sexy.

This story has some holes in it and some things that were just hard to swallow. the main female character was dumb as a rock. The main male... how was he a mob boss at all? He seemed to mainly hide in his house most of the story. The ending.... ridiculous.

This is my favorite so far

I love that the narrator (who has thus far narrated all the books I've listened to in this series) uses a Mexican accent for the male wolf in this one. it makes the story all the more real and dramatic for listening.

I love Carlos the wolf. he is my fave alpha so far. what a nice man, but also such a strong dominant alpha. *Swoon*

And Sedona! Love her too. didn't think I would after references to her in the last book. But she is a strong female. Fun all around. This story was action filled and lots of sexy times. Worth the credit.

Great story. keeps you listening to find out what happens next. I love forced marriages and mafia romance and possessive male characters. this had all of it.

My one complaint is the main female, Gabriella. this girl is a f***ing moron. And I found myself wishing Stephan would smack the hell out of her, and enjoying too much the few times he did. But she wasn't so awful that I stopped listening. Happily going on to book two now.

Awesome story. Great characters!!

I listened to this one straight through. The main male character is written as SUCH a mobster. usually these dark mafia romances have the main male as dangerous, possesive, smart. but this guy is kinda dumb and it really makes his character more believable and likeable.

The main female was also pretty dumb, which was a nice change. it's fun to listen to the narrator playing the female part and then he does a great job on the Italian mobster accent for the man. there were so many parts that made me laugh out loud or cheer for the storyline. The sexy times were plentiful and 🔥!!!

Really loved this book.

I love this book so hard!

First of all, both the books in this series are so good. Spend the credits on them!

They are not predictable at all. the plot and twisty storyline keep you interested all the way. the characters are great.

And the narrator's were both excellent. I especially loved Teddy Hamilton. He just had this animal-like tone that really brings the possessive Russian Mobster out in the reading of the main male character. It was so great. I wish there was more in this series. I would listen forever.

Just not believable

I just couldnt get into either of these characters. but especially the female. Any CEO billionaire who needs an assistant to fill in for 3 months while his regular assistant is on maternity leave is going to hire a REAL IN PERSON assistant. And would def not be putting up with the unprofessional personal chatter this woman is constantly engaging in. AND, when he asks for someone else the company should be bending over backwards to get him a better person. HE'S A BILLIONAIRE CLIENT!

Anyhow, the woman is like an overly chirpy automated phone voice and I feel so bad for this guy that he's having to deal with her. Can't tell you how many times I yelled out at her for being so unprofessional with a client. and I get that's supposed to be the charm... but it's not charming at all. Just annoying.
