Great concept for "monsters".

I enjoy listening to the "maybe not quite real" subject of monsters, sea creatures, etc. This is a good listen for the story being told. The problem is the AI narration. For the few books I have listened to which use AI for narration, AI has a good way to go before getting close to the ability of a human. Case in point is the word "bass" when used in context of the fish but pronounced as the "base". We wouldn't even discuss how poorly AI does on reading off websites or references.
If you except the current limitations of AI narration, it's a fun book, but you would think someone would have listen to the book before releasing it and corrected the errors.

This classic tale of shipwreck and survival on an uninhabited island was an instant success when first published in 1719, and it has inspired countless imitations.

Overall a great story. Remembering the time in which it was written and and the nature of the time the story took place, it’s gives one the reminder to always try.
