I am truly happy that finally this great book is on audible and that I can take it with me and listen to it during the times I can't read the book ..A review on here stated that the AI taints the story .I don't know why they would say such a thing but I have to disagree. I found the narration to be smooth and enjoyable, maybe they received a bad version but mine worked great and I would definitely encourage others to purchase and listen for themselves because this story hits you with suspense and leaves you wanting more with every chapter.Even the way the monster feels like one of the characters with it's own thoughts and feelings is truly masterful.

fast paced and did not disappoint

Hawthorne has done it again.. This was a great prequel that answered a lot of questions and gave insight into how it was the pliosaur survived that long . The civilization within the caldera and their rituals gave so much more to the story and managed to keep you wanting more .If you have read the first 2 kronos rising books this is a definite must read .
