Historia
Johnnie Rico never really intended to join up—and definitely not the infantry. But now that he’s in the thick of it, trying to get through combat training harder than anything he could have imagined, he knows everyone in his unit is one bad move away from buying the farm in the interstellar war the Terran Federation is waging against the Arachnids. Because everyone in the Mobile Infantry fights. And if the training doesn’t kill you, the Bugs are more than ready to finish the job.

Virtual voice could tank this series
Revisado: 11-08-24
The story is of usual high quality but the narration is so flat it really hurt it. Bring the humans back please

Great story, dead tone to narration was a bummer. Hope this is not a sign of the future of audible

Historia
In 2059, two vastly different groups of people portrayed by the compelling trio of Brendan Fraser (Academy Award winner), Luke Kirby (Emmy Award winner), and Vanessa Sears (Dora Award winner) undergo cryonic suspension. While their bodies are frozen, their minds, still active and awake, are uploaded into a massive quantum computer. The first group are all astronauts, about to leave Earth on a one-way interstellar colonization mission. The second group consists of convicted murderers and volunteers who elect to serve their sentences in a virtual-reality prison.

Woke trash
Revisado: 12-07-23
Could not even finish this woke trash. The story would have been ok but so much wokeness it was not enjoyable. I listen to science fiction to relax not be pulled into political trash debates about how if you don’t wear a mask you should have been shunned.

Historia
Humans seem to believe that this chaotic mess of a universe is more or less puttering along on its own. As if universes were completely natural concepts. What if I told you there were no scientific laws? What if I told you that everything, including the facts you are most certain about, could fundamentally change at a moment’s notice and never go back to the way they were before? All life, each object, every feeling or thought you possess, are based entirely upon Spells. It is an active, continual process. They are creating us this very instant.

Avoid not worth your time
Revisado: 04-14-21
It took me forever to finish this book it’s so badly written. The narrator was amazing though and he did a great job, but not even his performance could save such a horrible book. It made jumps in logic and fine that are almost impossible fo follow.

Historia
In Adam Smith's engrossing analysis of the economic facts of life, he introduced such fundamental principles, now referred to as axioms, as the division of labor, supply and demand, and free-market capitalism. He shows that universal pursuit of self-interest contributes to the public interest.

I had to listen very closely to tell if it was a human voice reading this. Honestly it gets better after chapter 2 but if you do not have a really strong will to listen then avoid this as his reading is about as dry as it gets. I would request a refund if I had paid full price for it.
