Historia
They were the Savages. Raiders from our distant past. Elites who left Earth to create tailor-made utopias aboard the massive lighthuggers that crawled through the darkness between the stars. But the people they left behind on a dying planet didn't perish in the dystopian nightmare the Savages had themselves created: they thrived, discovering faster-than-light technology and using it to colonize the galaxy ahead of the Savages, forming fantastic new civilizations that surpassed the wildest dreams of Old Earth.

Probably the finest book ever written about the rosary, The Secret of the Rosary appeals to all ages. It shows the great spiritual power of the rosary, which is appreciated by few, and tells why the rosary is the most important private prayer.

The Secret of The Rosary is no longer secret!
Revisado: 02-20-25
I liked this book and how it connected devotion to the Holy Rosary with various people (including saints). I think it is read in a slow, deliberate manner which may be off putting for some. I think it connects with the overall topic, theme, and message of the book, and it also connects with the importance of being patient and devout in praying the Holy Rosary. It helped me see and understand the Rosary and understand the importance of it. I hope it does the same for you. Vivat Jesus! Peace be with you! Thank you to Saint Louis de Montfort for writing this! Thank you for the English translation and to Kevin O’ Brian for narrating this amazing book! Have a blessed day!

Revisado: 01-20-25
I’ve read some of Robert Heinlein’s books and I’ve liked them. I think of this book as like the launching pad for the horizons by which Heinlein will launch his own career and inspire countless people. This is the basic ingredients that when put together will soon turn into a culinary (literary) masterpiece! It was interesting to see the future that Heinlein envisioned…. I found myself thinking about the future and the concepts mentioned here, This got me thinking about some things…I find myself resonating with the character Perry…it would be cool to see what Perry does in the future…Thanks to the late Robert Heinlein for writing this amazing book! Thanks for sharing!

Shadows of the Empire illuminates the shadowy outlines of a criminal conspiracy that exists in the background of the events in the movies, ruled by a character new to us. Prince Xizor is a mastermind of evil who dares to oppose one of the best-known fictional villains of all time: Darth Vader. The story involves all the featured Star Wars movie characters, plus Emperor Palpatine and, of course, Lord Vader himself.

I loved this book! It’s a story that fits right in with the original trilogy! I didn’t realize the audiobook was an abridged version, as when I was reading the book along with it, it felt like some parts were missing. If you read the book by hand, there are some scenes which I think add to the story. Overall, it’s a great story! My favorite part was when Chewbacca and Lando slipped and tripped when exiting the sewers! That was hilarious! Thank you so much to Steve Perry for writing this amazing story! May the Force be with you! Happy reading!

Historia
For decades we've been told that positive thinking is the key to a happy, rich life. "F*ck positivity," Mark Manson says. "Let's be honest, shit is f*cked, and we have to live with it." In his wildly popular Internet blog, Manson doesn't sugarcoat or equivocate. He tells it like it is - a dose of raw, refreshing, honest truth that is sorely lacking today. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is his antidote to the coddling, let's-all-feel-good mind-set that has infected modern society and spoiled a generation, rewarding them with gold medals just for showing up.

It gives you a different way of thinking and feeling about things, and it teaches you what to focus on in life, even though we’re not sure of what we are doing. It gives you some amazing stories to illustrate ideas about how to approach your life. Happy reading! Thank you so much to Mark Manson for writing this fantastic book!

Historia
In March 1836, the Mexican army led by General Santa Anna massacred more than 200 Texians who had been trapped in the Alamo. After 13 days of fighting, American legends Jim Bowie and Davey Crockett died there, along with other Americans who had moved to Texas looking for a fresh start. It was a crushing blow to Texas' fight for freedom. But the story doesn’t end there. The defeat galvanized the Texian settlers, and under General Sam Houston’s leadership, they rallied. Six weeks after the Alamo, Houston and his band of settlers defeated Santa Anna’s army in a shocking victory.

Remember the Alamo!
Revisado: 08-28-24
Brian Kilmeade has done it again and written an amazing story about remembering the Alamo. For many in Texas, this is an iconic moment for Texas history and it has had a profound influence over many people around the world and over many years. Sadly, though, the Alamo, I fear, is becoming forgotten. As with the country, our history is being forgotten and changed. This is a story that rings true for those who have suffered and those who continue to suffer from the years of brutality of tyranny and oppression of despotic regimes that limit the freedom of humanity and seek to crush it under an authoritarian iron boot. This is the point of the story. To remember what these men and so many others endured, bled, suffered, and died for: Freedom. The thing that is taken advantage of today and is forgotten with the importance of discipline. The Alamo should be remembered now more than ever and that without the Alamo, there may have not been a Texas, or the United States to be from sea to shining sea. This is an amazing outstanding book to read, and I recommend it to everyone to read. It’s a must read! Thank you to Brian Kilmeade for writing this fantastic book! Thanks for all of your hard work! God Bless Texas and the United States of America! Patriots of the world, unite!

Historia
When President Theodore Roosevelt welcomed the country’s most visible Black man, Booker T. Washington, into his circle of counselors in 1901, the two confronted a shocking and violent wave of racist outrage. In the previous decade, Jim Crow laws had legalized discrimination in the South, eroding social and economic gains for former slaves. Lynching was on the rise, and Black Americans faced new barriers to voting. Slavery had been abolished, but if newly freed citizens were condemned to lives as share croppers, how much improvement would their lives really see?

Revisado: 07-22-24
I love history books, and this book is captivating! It tells not only what occurred, but also narrates what happened! It feels as if the world has turned back the clock and you are there with these giants among men. It gets you to think and appreciate all of the hard work, although not always smooth or perfect, that has gone into creating the world’s best country that was and continues to remain. We can only learn and carry on what these amazing people started and pass their lessons and knowledge through the next generations. This was awesome! Thanks, Brian Kilmeade for writing this astounding book!

Revisado: 06-07-24
I think this book would be most helpful for autistic people and helping them figure out how to take care of themselves. I think it gives a lot of interesting insights to consider. I don’t necessarily agree with everything that is mentioned, and I am autistic. However, it is wonderful to see an autistic psychologist talk about her experiences and give some perspective about what things can be helpful for autistic people for their mental health. Awesome book. Thank you Dr. Megan Anna Neff for taking the time to write this book! Have a fantastic day!

Historia
Following Caesar’s assassination and Mark Antony’s defeat of the conspirators who killed Caesar, two powerful men remained in Rome—Antony and Caesar’s chosen heir, young Octavian, the future Augustus. When Antony fell in love with the most powerful woman in the world, Egypt’s ruler Cleopatra, and thwarted Octavian’s ambition to rule the empire, another civil war broke out. In 31 BC one of the largest naval battles in the ancient world took place—more than 600 ships, almost 200,000 men, and one woman—the Battle of Actium.

The War That Made The Roman Empire is out of this world!
Revisado: 05-13-24
This book is amazing! I think gave me more insight on Octavian, Mark Anthony, Cleopatra and the Battle of Actium! It certainly displayed the lengths Octavian had to go through to establish himself as an emperor (though he would have preferred to be thought of as a monarch) and to establish the Roman Empire. This is awesome! Barry Strauss makes you feel like you’re being taken back in time and you’re there with Octavian, Mark Anthony, and Cleopatra, seeing all of their moves and stories from beginning to end. Thank you so much Barry Strauss for writing this fantastic book! I would recommend this book to anyone who loves ancient history! Thanks and have a wonderful day!

Revisado: 03-09-24
Awesome! Great story! It’s cool to see how the predecessors to the Jedi used swords, and the focus is about being in balance with both the light and the dark sides of the Force. I think there are some moments where it gets confusing between names and there is a back and forth between the main character’s past and present! Overall, this book is about a story of hope, persistence, love for family, and relentless determination. Awesome job! Thanks, Tim Lebbon for writing this awesome story!
