Historia
When we think of fungi, we likely think of mushrooms. But mushrooms are only fruiting bodies, analogous to apples on a tree. Most fungi live out of sight, yet make up a massively diverse kingdom of organisms that supports and sustains nearly all living systems. Fungi provide a key to understanding the planet on which we live, and the ways we think, feel, and behave.

Sensational and entertaining plot, but more than a beach read. A beautiful tale of time travel, dreams and love, history and courage to believe and persist beyond suffering. I found hope, strength and trust in Intuition. Thank you Ms. Sayers.

History, Heart, Compassion And Wisdom
Revisado: 06-10-21
Awaken your own connection to our beloved Mother Earth through the customs and wisdom of our First Nations tribes, The Chippewa and Cree of The Turtle Mountains.
This story of The Night Watchman filled my heart with love and compassion for our sisters and brothers who preserved their lineage and gained sovereignty through old ways and new.
Thank you Louise Erdrich.

Historia
Brilliantly executed and compulsively listenable, Unsheltered is the story of two families, in two centuries, who live at the corner of Sixth and Plum, as they navigate the challenges of surviving a world in the throes of major cultural shifts. In this mesmerizing story told in alternating chapters, Willa and Thatcher come to realize that though the future is uncertain, even unnerving, shelter can be found in the bonds of kindred - whether family or friends - and in the strength of the human spirit.

Waiting For Redemption Though Violence And Drama
Revisado: 12-14-20
It was worth it, pressing forward hoping for the redemption finally offered, but the entire middle section of this great novel hurt to bear witness to. It harms me to read about so many battered and beaten and held down, kept down, complicit women like Cora in this book, Where The Crawdads Sing, Educated and countless others. Still, Lenni and Matthew and Tom and Large Marge kept me reading and listening.

Amazing & Wonderful!
Revisado: 03-15-19
Neuroscience, studies and experiments revealing well-documented results make these findings entirely credible.
Being a longtime meditator, having been aware of Dr. Joe since “What The Bleep...” in 2004, and having witnessed him speak via various platforms, listening to “Becoming Supernatural” clarified and confirmed so many of my own meditation/mystical experiences.
More than this, it has me becoming physically more healthy and fit, as well as confident in my brave new life-changing decisions. I am practicing the techniques in the book and I am feeling happier and seeing the benefits out-pictured in my life in a relatively short time.
An excellent and inspiring listen. An empowering and transformational way of living.

Historia
An utterly unsentimental journey toward the end of life, Mala is an irreverent exploration of how we live, cope, and survive in the moment. Grounded in Lopez’s distinctive emotional language and sharp humor, this powerful one-woman show dances between doctors and urgent 911 calls, a mother’s growing frailty, and a daughter’s quest for grace - all set during an epic Boston winter. Rather than depict a “right way”, the play opens the door for our universal struggle to support those we love in dying, especially when all we’ve ever focused on is surviving.

Sad Funny
Revisado: 02-24-19
Ms. Lopez performing her own memories of being dubbed, “Mala” made me laugh with bittersweet emotion. As well, I replayed my own sadness and appreciation, remembering my beloved sister’s hospice and death, listening like a voyeur to the stories about the end of the precious lives of her mother and father.
