Historia
Zack Lightman has never much cared for reality. He vastly prefers the countless science-fiction movies, books, and videogames he's spent his life consuming. And too often, he catches himself wishing that some fantastic, impossible, world-altering event could arrive to whisk him off on a grand spacefaring adventure.

Good chill story
Revisado: 04-28-24
It was a good book. Pretty surface level, not a ton of deep thinking like in other books by Cline. But still well worth a read

Truly a great science fiction novel
Revisado: 12-23-23
Although the story is not as captivating as the first book. Ready Player Two wrestles with some big ethical questions placed in a not so distanced future. This book really makes you think while the first book makes you just enjoy the ride. Wil Weaton did a phenomenal job narrating this story.

Historia
Through roles in cherished films such as Mrs. Doubtfire, Jumanji, Aladdin and Hook, he became the genial face of family comedy. His childlike enthusiasm was infectious, sweeping viewers away. Allied to his lightning-quick improvisation and ability to riff lewdly off any cue thrown at him, Robin was that rare thing - a true comic genius who appealed to adults and children equally. He could also play it straight, and empathetic depth came to him naturally.

Good biography
Revisado: 11-24-22
This was a great biography about his life, but I thought the title and intro of the book set it up so that the author was going to focus more on the end of his life and what could drive a person to commit such a horrible thing.

Horrible narration worst on audible
Revisado: 08-22-22
I have listened to over 125 books on audible and this is the worst narration of a book. The main narrator is fine, but they use multiple other voice actors. They are decent. But sometimes the characters will be voiced by the voice actors and other times by the main character they aren’t consistent. So so bad.

Historia
When Edward Cullen and Bella Swan met in Twilight, an iconic love story was born. But until now, fans have heard only Bella's side of the story. At last, listeners can experience Edward's version in the long-awaited companion novel, Midnight Sun. This unforgettable tale as told through Edward's eyes takes on a new and decidedly dark twist. Meeting Bella is both the most unnerving and intriguing event he has experienced in all his years as a vampire.

Worth damning your soul? Come on Bella....
Revisado: 08-31-20
Oh my gosh? Are we serious right now readers? I love vampires as much as the next person but is it realllly worth it to be taunting damnation? If that’s truly the whole reason why vampires are so scary-cause you cast your soul into hell for all of eternity that is pretty terrifying. Let’s cast aside the theological fallacy, obviously one can always come back to the grace of Christ even after committing atrocities and someone else can’t “steal” your soul from biting you. Yet to play devils advocate maybe what Stephenie is getting at is that since you are theoretically “dying” when you turn it could be the blaspheming of the Holy Spirit. But then again if little Suzy gets bit by a vampire against her will and the venom penetrate deep into her blood and turns her into a vampire she has no say in the matter. One couldn’t be a Christian, get bit, then loose their salvation. That would be simply asinine. Needless to say in this fantasy world if this really was how it worked Bella would be a moron to tempt fate so much as to hook up with the one dude that could send her to hell. I’m all about risks, but Bella should have just gone ahead and gone to prom with Mike. Ps. Totallly just having fun here. It was an okay read but. Still in the back of my mind that’s all I could think of the entire time she was making out with Edward. BTW Jake Abel killed the narration! Great work Jake!

Historia
On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

Historia
Long acknowledged as a master of nightmarish vision, H.P. Lovecraft established the genuineness and dignity of his own pioneering fiction in 1931 with his quintessential work of supernatural horror, "At the Mountains of Madness". The deliberately told and increasingly chilling recollection of an Antarctic expedition's uncanny discoveries - and their encounter with an untold menace in the ruins of a lost civilization - is a milestone of macabre literature.

Welcome to Derry, Maine. It’s a small city, a place as hauntingly familiar as your own hometown. Only in Derry the haunting is real. They were seven teenagers when they first stumbled upon the horror. Now they are grown-up men and women who have gone out into the big world to gain success and happiness. But the promise they made 28 years ago calls them reunite in the same place where, as teenagers, they battled an evil creature that preyed on the city’s children.
