I’m surprised this is virtually voiced. This author has awesome world building and great character depth. I’m sincerely surprised their stuff is virtually voiced. Good story, great plot, believable. Awesome interactions between characters. I can believe these characters are who they portray and this situation is happening to them. Awesome job.

This story was a bit boring. Even the RH portion of the storyline was dry. Like a kid playing dress up this book was a bunch of words playing at a legit story. I’m glad the 1st book was free. It helped me determine how I’m not going to pay for any more. The MFC was dry and the MMCs were weak. Thanks for the free read but I’ll pass.

I thought this series was completely adorable. I was nervous about how cringy the transition from friends to lovers might be but it was very tasteful and the complete storyline was well delivered. I consider this a palate cleanser type of story when you’ve been listening to dark books and want something good but not too heavy. It’s got some dark moments but was ultimately hopeful. I liked it.

What a beautiful story. I didn’t fast fwd once. I was always invested from beginning to end. Plus you included my fave narrator Ms. Hollie Jackson. She has a great range. Always interested in anything she reads. Beautiful ending.

Theres nothing worse than having a series with 8 books (only 3 of them focused on the main plot line- the last two -7 and 8 - should’ve been one book and it should have been a novella for all the effort) and it being incomplete. I’ve searched high and low for an account of what happened to the rest; from “ Goodreads” to “Reddit” to even insta damn gram. WTH. I mean just pull the series so others DON’T waste credits believing when they see eight books they don’t get caught up. I had to read the comments to figure out what the heck this series was doing. How can you publish books about the characters before you FINISH THE SERIES!! Ughhh. I’m good on this author. I feel a bit played. This series had so much potential. I’m super aggy.

Im confused as to why they let Juliette make the decision. And their problems (plot points) were dumb. The bad guy can find you but y’all can’t find them. We’re in the stone ages. How did the king of demons make it this far. I’m upset with all this mess. The world building was good but the drama was soap opera’ish

She grew up with a mob boss father, who dumbed her in a school she was ill prepared for. She runs around acting like she didn’t understand consequences. Some of turmoil is self inflicted by the MFC. Not saying I’m not sympathetic towards her but she acts like she doesn’t know what 2 and 2 is. She has no common sense and doesn’t seem to want to remedy that issue. She better stick to her man because lawd knows she’s not looking both ways before crossing any streets.

The narration was awesome. I felt immersed in the storyline even with all the hard eye rolls I had to do with the MFC and her dumb a$$ bestie.

Is it wrong that I’m glad Ocean got jumped in on the last book. I haven’t finished the 4 th book but everything she’s doing is massively annoying at this point. She’s putting her family at risk, snitching on her so called family and for her to be so pressed on protecting her child and being street smart, I sure can’t tell.

She created most of problems instead of using common sense. You have a billionaire boyfriend and go to the hood and keep piling it on. She keeps saying “ no more lies” but keeps lying to everyone. Ive never seen such poor self preservation instincts. The first 3 books were really good but this 4th one is grating. Colton has shown her time and time again he is capable but she trust everyone but him.

Colton deserves better. Maybe if he dropped her ass and really let her fend for herself she’d stop acting like an impulsive drama queen and value her blessings. Let Russo have her ass. She’s so pressed to manage her own shit, let her. I’m disappointed in all the unnecessary plot points in the story.

I still haven’t found a bully romance quite like the L.O.R.D.S series. This was nonsense. A bunch of babbling babies. There was no real “dark” part of the dark bully/college romance and none of it made sense. I will not be wasting credits on this minutiae and my best description of book one is DRY asf.

The MMCs were weak and all over the place and the MFC was a drama queen who cried about being lonely but played too many victim blaming games even though she WASNT A VICTIM. just desperate.

My review was more interesting than this freaking story. I’m starting to feel like folks are calling anytime a dark bully/college romance as long as the characters are in some sort of school and you throw in a couple of I hate yous and few pushes and some shoving. Pathetic. 😠😕. Waste of my reading time.

I feel like the cliffhanger from the 1st book set up the plot to be more than what it was in the second book. The second book was all over the place and more focused on sex than unraveling several plot points in the 1st book. It also left me with questions like what was up with the brother “Teo” not liking the MFC. Also, the MFC stored all these “little nuggets” away in her mind and they never amounted to anything to do with the main storyline in the second book. I feel like I was played on this second book. I’m massively annoyed. The second book felt rushed and like a bunch high intensity situations jumbled together. I want my credit back. 😠
