Slow start
Revisado: 12-18-24
It was a slow start for me but the story more than made up for it later. The voice acting was amazing. Fantastic story I'm looking forward to reading the next one

Historia
Tom Felton’s adolescence was anything but ordinary. His early rise to fame in beloved films like The Borrowers catapulted him into the limelight, but nothing could prepare him for what was to come after he landed the iconic role of the Draco Malfoy, the bleached blonde villain of the Harry Potter movies. For the next ten years, he was at the center of a huge pop culture phenomenon and yet, in between filming, he would go back to being a normal teenager trying to fit into a normal school. Speaking with great candor and his signature humor, Tom shares his experience.

Historia
Willa Knight: Dead? Alive? Damned to a state of eternal bad luck? Willa and the Abcurse brothers are back, and more determined than ever to stick by each other. Unfortunately, Staviti has other plans, plans that threaten to change the natural order of the worlds—though nobody really understands why. His agenda may very well affect all beings on Minatsol, even those that thought themselves safe in Topia. Even Willa-invincible-Knight. Unsure with her new place in the worlds, Willa must follow the Abcurses to their new post: Champions Peak, a secluded mountain far from civilization, where the most powerful sols have been summoned to hone their abilities through direct contact with the gods. There is a chance that she might survive her time on the mountain, but it seems like staying alive amidst the powerful occupants of the Peak is the least of her concerns. Her real problem is staying on the mountain at all.

Terrible writing
Revisado: 07-08-20
This is a horrible story. It's sad and pointless. There is no real ending and if I could give the author less stars I would. The only bright spot is the author makes really likeable characters but that makes the story more disappointing in the end because you want a better ending for them all.

One of the best Nora Roberts books so far
Revisado: 06-10-19
I'm so in love with this book series! I wish I had found it after it was finished so I didn't have to wait for the last one! It so different from her normal books. It's amazing what a truly talented writer she is! This isn't the normal type of book I read or listen too but once I started I couldn't stop. I was sucked in from the first paragraph!

My name is Larkspur, and I am an Elemental. My people use the power of the earth to sustain life and defy our enemies. I should be at my father's side as a royal princess. But as a half-breed bastard child, that isn't going to happen. Taken away by the last Spirit Walker, I am meant to train with him so that I can finally stop the false mother goddess and her plans to rule both humans and elementals. I am meant to train so that I can meet her on even ground, but training takes time.

Fantastic story start to finish
Revisado: 05-18-18
I almost never leave book reviews but I loved this books series so much! A strong lead female and a story that you don't predict I was entertained from start to finish. The only disappointment is that it's over.

Historia
Freak. Witch. Crazy. Schizo. Ember Brycin has been called them all. She's always known she's different. No one has ever called her normal, even under the best circumstances. Bizarre and inexplicable things continually happen to her, and having two different colored eyes, strange hair, and an unusual tattoo only contributes to the gossip about her. When the latest school explosion lands her in a facility for trouble teens, she meets Eli Dragen, who's hot as hell and darkly mysterious.

Trying way to hard....
Revisado: 02-01-18
The person reading the book has a very Smokey voice that I'm sure a lot of people may like but it puts me to sleep and grates on my nerves. There isn't a whole lot of difference between character voices either. The story is so unbelievably over dramatic. She spins such over top scenarios that they should be the final scene and you have roll your eyes every time Ember gets into trouble again or uncovers another horrendous thing about the past. I'm writing this review after listening to the whole book series. I keep hoping at some point it would get better and you would want to cheer for the "good guys winning" but you never really feel like they build enough momentum to actually win. The books are so dark and dramatic that the ending doesn't feel much like a climax. I didn't feel happy about the ending I just felt happy that I didn't have to listen to anymore of this ridiculous story line. I normally love paranormal romance but not this series.
