Having been a junkie of all things in the AUD universe for years now, I was ecstatic to see more content being released. Reading that this was an British-set story with their level of offensive language and a pug, I was all-in...and man it didn't disappoint.

Carl put together a well-built cast of protagonists that you feel that you'd enjoy having a few pints and shooting the sh- with. The antagonists feel like they were pulled from the different castes in various Guy Ritchie films, but I'm a Yank and would probably say the same about any British gangstas and gansta-wannabees.

Danielle Cohen's performance brought the effervescent Lockey to life in a way that I couldn't visualize if I read it. A scouse accent can't be read easily on paper by someone across the pond, so its all the more enjoyable on Audible.

Carl & Danielle - Fantastic Work! I look forward to the next installment.

The number of mispronounced military terms was astonishing. Research before narrating next time please. This doesn't take away from the story, which I should have read in print form

What was one of the most memorable moments of Prepper's Crucible Omnibus, Volumes 4-6?

The trip to Phoenix

How could the performance have been better?

I didn't like the narrator from the first sentence spoken, then the continued mispronunciations of military terms and other delivery issues drove me nuts. Example - It's Core-man, not corps-man... Marine Corps (core)...

Love the series, but the audio on this one was terrible towards the end. There were times that it sounded like the reader had his back turned a sigh caught at the end of one reading...

What didn’t you like about Sean Runnette’s performance?

Sean Runnette's voice falls on my ears like nails on a chalkboard.

Any additional comments?

Sorry, Bobby. You lost a listener with the change to Sean. It's a shame because I really enjoy the story

Would you consider the audio edition of Time of Death to be better than the print version?

Not having read the print version, I'd say it was easier to consume the book during my commutes than reading at home.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Emma was a relatable and well-developed character, with a heavy does of honest sarcasm and humor.

What about Sarah Tancer’s performance did you like?

Sarah did a very good job of delivering Emma's attitude and snark.

Any additional comments?

Time of Death: Induction is the first person account of the zombie apocalypse as seen by Emma Rossi, a likeable anti-heroine everywoman. The characters' backgrounds and skillsets are well-developed by the author, giving credence to their sometimes heartbreaking actions in SHTF situations throughout the book. The pace is strong without missing detail, the suspense unwavering, and the carnage gruesome. The undead are of the Romero mould and have only one instinctive need: to ferociously feed on the living.

I listened to this audiobook on my way to and from work everyday for the last few days. It should have taken longer, but I found myself sitting the truck and finishing chapters because I couldn't wait to hear what happens next. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look for more from Shana. Count me in as a new fan.
