Sadly, worst of the three

I loved the first two books, but this one felt completely different, almost forced.
Parts of the story dragged on and could have accomplished the same thing in half the time. I'm all for dark & spicy novels, but when you basically there's such a thing as too many descriptors.
The male narrator was also difficult to follow at times. He did a great job at capturing the madness, but as someone else mentioned, I started picturing Christian Slater or Jack Nicholson telling me the story.
This 3rd book just didn't seem to capture the correct balance as the previous two did.

Felt too chaotic, don't like 2 narrators

I didn't feel this last book of the series was as good as previous. Loved the story line but I felt too many new characters were introduced and made even more confusing with the addition of the male narrator for this book.
It was honestly painful to listen to and I skipped through a lot of the fluff so I didn't have to listen to him.

Persephone is wayy too annoying in this storyline.

I loved the first book, but found Persephone entirely too annoying, selfish, and immature in this book. It took me a lot longer to get through the story because I couldn't stomach the whining.
The narrator does a great job though and helped me get through the story.

Rushed and Unfinished

While it was a decent book, this last book of the series was nowhere near the quality of the rest. It seemed very rushed and jumped over a lot of time.
The narrator changed her voice on this one and it didn't sound near as good.

Focused Too Much On Items & Not Enough On Services

A lot of great information was discussed in Selling Luxury, but I felt it focused too much on selling tangible products and not nearly enough on luxury services.
One example was when it was mentioned Luxury retailers might be competing against a travel agent. As a travel consultant focused on premium and luxury products, I found this to come across as a bit demeaning towards the agent.
Yes, luxury retailers may very well be competing with me for a guest's time, attention, loyalty, and financial investment in my product and service. I offer more than just another item that takes up space and may or may not be a timeless classic or just a fad. I offer my clients the ability to collect unforgettable and unique experiences and memories with family and friends while giving them the personalized attention and luxury service they deserve.
