Historia
Twenty-five years ago, Neil Howe and the late William Strauss dazzled the world with a provocative new theory of American history. Looking back at the last 500 years, they’d uncovered a distinct pattern: modern history moves in cycles, each one lasting roughly 80 to 100 years, the length of a long human life, with each cycle composed of four eras—or “turnings”—that always arrive in the same order and each last about 25 years. The last of these eras—the fourth turning—was always the most perilous, a period of civic upheaval and national mobilization.

Disappointing mumbo jumbo
Revisado: 12-28-23
I read his previous book on the 3rd turning and have followed his work for a while. This book is a hard pass! You can clearly tell he is taking a simple 4 chapter update to the previous book and stretching it to a ridiculous 20 hours. Now it's a collection of psychobabble with absolutely no direction. It's so bad I stopped listening after an hour of thesaurus pumping nonsense. I guess he thinks using big words that require him to define how he is using it makes him sound more intellectual. It unfortunate since he really has good material.

We are doomed...
Revisado: 01-13-23
Very good book and I am glad I read it. Written from a Gen Z perspective, it is a like looking into a foreign land for a Gen X like me. The book extolls the greatness of the generation but goes on to explain how the entire world has to change to make them successful. Looking ahead to the generation after them makes me realize the future is bleak. We have an entire generation that can't think for themselves and must be spoon fed reality or given a "safe space" to hide from reality all together. This clarifies the affects of what happens when everyone gets a trophy...

TERRIBLE! Total soap opera trash
Revisado: 01-26-21
I have excitedly ready every book in the series. The action and suspense, wondering about the powers of skippy the magnificent as I wonder how they will get out of the situation alive... I looked forward to this book and even bought it ahead if its release.
Now I stand dumbfounded as to what in hell happened. This trash is between a soap opera and The Housewives of Planet Paradise. I barely made it half way through before I stopped and deleted this junk. It was painful to hear the awkward romance BS and painful to watch Skippy be turned into a dress maker/simple house assistant. This is the worst thing since the Game of Thrones ending.

Historia
An explosive, whistle-blowing expose, Exonerated: The Failed Takedown of Donald Trump by the Swamp reveals how Deep State actors relied on a cynical plug-and-play template to manufacture the now-discredited Russiagate scandal. With the cutting analysis and insight he exhibited in his blockbuster bestseller Spygate: The Attempted Sabotage of Donald J. Trump, Fox News contributor Bongino exposes who masterminded the dangerous playbook to take down Trump, their motives, and how a plan filled with faked allegations backfired.

Great book that is well written and covers a lot of information. Makes you appreciate the slimy nature of those dead set on undermining the president at any cost.

big letdown
Revisado: 10-11-19
The first book was just OK. The narrator was just as bored as I was. The second book was just a mishmash of characters and historical story line that was just mind numbingly boring and didn't add anything to the storyline. It was clearly filler. I gave up before the end of the second book and deleted the series. Now I understand why I got the whole series for 1 credit.

Stephen Hawking not only unraveled some of the universe's greatest mysteries but also believed science plays a critical role in fixing problems here on Earth. Now, as we face immense challenges on our planet - including climate change, the threat of nuclear war, and the development of artificial intelligence - he turns his attention to the most urgent issues facing us. Will humanity survive? Should we colonize space? Does God exist? These are just a few of the questions Hawking addresses in this wide-ranging, passionately argued final book from one of the greatest minds in history.

disappointing
Revisado: 05-30-19
Definitely the worst of his books. Instead of staying true to his goal of explaining advanced science to common people, this books treads heavily into science as a cult and the members of the scientific academia as gods in their own right. Instead of science explaining through observation and speculation, this "work" relegates itself to dime store magic when the "laws" of science don't explain in a way they like. Now we are back to the age old question of where it all began before the big bang. Since the "laws" of modern physics doesn't have an answer he goes straight to a ridiculous explanation of how something comes from nothing. Which in itself defies defies the conservation of matter theory. The whole book talks about his passion over black holes but his theories seem half baked and poorly explained.

Lame collection of quotes from other authors.
Revisado: 03-08-18

Actual content based on experience. This is a load of cheesy quotes from other authors and plugs for other books.
What could Mac Anderson have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Written a book about employee selection based on talents, skills...
How did the narrator detract from the book?
No he was fine.
What character would you cut from You Can't Send a Duck to Eagle School?
No character to cut. Just quotes
Any additional comments?
Lame
