I am a huge fan of this series and Mr. Osman's clever writing. I was interested to hear in the interview at this book's end that he, too, prefers to listen to audio books. It's even more surprising, then, that this new narrator does the characters' voices well, but speaks so much else in a hushed tone that is easily lost if one is trying to listen while in the car or going about life. That said, I love spending time with these characters and look forward to our next adventures together. I just hope we go back to the first reader, or that this one is encouraged to use her talents to indicate intimacy without whispering.

loved this in high school...I have no time now for these self-defeating characters. it's all so predictable. So sorry to discover a book I'd remembered so we'll was now full of people I can't stand.

This recording of the Yoga Sutras is an exemplary rendition of a complicated text. It includes authentic reading of the titles, astute commentary, and a very fine narrator. This is how ALL interpretations of these ancient Indian texts should be presented. You might notice I panned (and returned) another recording with the exact same title, so don't confuse the two. THIS is the one you want!

Poorly Organized

Narrator has a nice voice, but is in too big a hurry. Impossible to discern between text and commentary. Disappointing interpretation by European. Save your money.
