Lesbian Superheroes….doesn’t get much better than that!!

I am a huge fantasy syfy nerd…and though I like a good lez romance, add syfy and superheroes with a brilliant story and plot, if you go looking for me you wont find me until I’m done.
This book was/is fabulous and engaging and tender and steamy.

I’ve read all of Mz. Bragg’s books (all good) this one is my fave!! Also loved to reader’s performance…really enjoyed her voices and voicing this wonderful story!!

Captivating!!

This book is a true gem 💎 !! A very creatively different type of dystopian story in which the USA as we know it, no longer exists, though societal ails/evils of classism, wealth/poverty, corruption and abuse of power still persist. This book is both character and plot driven, with characters and dialogue and story all brought to life by the wonderful performance of Jen Jayden!! She was simply brilliant!
You will not be disappointed!!

Hilarious and Sexy AF

I wish I could live in this world the author created!! Equal parts lesbian fellowship of the ring and a polyamorous commune/queendom!!
It is sexy, and erotic and sensuous…I had to fan myself it was so DAMN HOT and the best part was how hilariously funny the story is that I couldn’t stop laughing or smiling the entire time !!
I read the Dragon’s Lover and immediately bought the second book….with plans to make my way thru all 10-12 books of this series 💜

The performance by Viviano La Rue was spectacular!! Sultry and sexy and sassy voices…all of it just brilliant!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Sexy and Engaging!!

There is so much I loved about this book because it is SO on so many levels. The prey and predator games, the interior world of assassins and people, the self awareness and objective insight of others, how the author delves deep into the human psyche and heart….its all exceptionally brilliant.
I love the performers voice, switching between characters and how their personalities really came thru distinctly different and separate. I felt like I was watching the characters have a conversation, not just listening.
This is my favorite book of the author. It is very well worth your time!!

Brilliant Trilogy!!

I am very impressed with the world building of this trilogy, each subsequent book took us deeper and deeper into a world centered on two powerhouse queer heroines! The story just drew me in and kept me hooked until the very end!! Political intrigue, war, sorcery …and above all love and devotion, loyalty and steadfastness enduring through it all.

And as great as the books are, they were made even more engaging by the performance of Elizabeth Saydah, which was phenomenal, all of the various accents and dialects were just absolutely brilliant!!

I would read this trilogy, or listen to, again and again!!

Elizabeth Andrews, thank you for this fantastic body
of work.

Laugh Out Loud Hilarious!!!

I love a story that both keeps me engaged with the plot and laughing throughout the story and this book totally delivers on both fronts!! It was great fun being just as exasperated with Captain Maria Wells as Amelia was. I really hope there is a 2nd story and that it’s on the horizon!

I wish there had been more POVs from more than just Amelia, and that there had been more magic. Hopefully if there is a 2nd book, that will happen.

The performance of was superb!! The voices were distinct, she did a really good job with voices of both sexes.
Really look forward to more.

Fantasy, Action and Love done very well

Love on the margins, intermixed the betrayal and brutality of shape shifter culture. Really good world building too.
The bulk of this story is about the interaction and falling in love of the main characters, and I was pleasantly surprised at how well the author kept me engaged with the story being primarily focused on those two characters.
The only slight drawback, and it really was minor, the reader’s performance of male voices left a little to be desired, at least for me. But like I said, that was very minor.

Great book, had me wishing for more from this author.

Love and Feminism at its best

First of all the performance of the reader was brilliant! And made the enjoyment of the story so much more!

I really appreciated this historical pov of how women were dismissed, discounted and disrespected by chauvinistic patriarchal society, particularly in the realm of the sciences, in this case astronomy and mathematics! And the resiliency and perseverance of women when faced with the dismissive male gaze.

I also think the author did an outstanding job depicting the impact of emotional neglect in relationships, as well as the impact of the nurturance parents can/do provide that bolsters a daughter self esteem and confidence to do anything she puts her mind to.

The love story was both tender and passionate, delightfully arousing.

A fantastic story that you won’t regret listening to…at all!!

Positively Delightful

I thoroughly enjoyed this book/story! A taste of Bridgerton, yet from a view broader and beyond the Ton! The Winchester family were charming characters, the the broader message of family being far more than those you are born to, as well as the honoring of acceptance and highlighting the usually unknown or covered up historical contributions of women! The author brilliantly encapsulated all of that an more in this very engaging story.
And the performance of the reader was engaging and fantastic!!
A wonderfully satisfying story.
