Very good
Revisado: 11-07-24
I really enjoyed this story. Vanessa had her guard up all the time, to me, it was clear to see that it was a defense mechanism for ber. She finally realized by treating people how she would like to be treated, and to not pre-judge them really makes a difference in how people perceive you. It was nice to see the transformation of Vanessa from beginning to the end and to understand just how the Lord can make a difference in our lives.

Historia
From a USA Today bestselling author... Sam never understood why Eliza left him five years ago, ghosting him without explanation. He’s avoided romance ever since, focusing on building his business. Money might not keep him warm at night, but it can sure buy a lot of blankets. Then Eliza shows up on his doorstep and throws herself into his arms. She can’t explain her bruises or the head injury that’s left her with no memories of the past five years, including their breakup. No matter how good it feels to hold her, though, there’s no way he’s getting sucked into romance again. ...

Intriguing Storyline
Revisado: 10-29-24
I enjoyed the story. A lot of twists and turns, suspense, and things to make you think and keep you guessing. As I was listening there were a few times I thought. is this really possible? could something like this happen? and then I remember yes it has happened already in our nation... and then the author points it out.

I believe we do entertain angels unaware, just as scripture says. This story is full of faith and family. God working miracles thru others. Tyler and Virginia's relationship was so sweet.

This was a very long book, but it was so good! A lot of scenarios and biblical principles that really make you think. In such a busy world, I can see this happening a lot and it's quite sad. This book is about faith, family, love forgiveness, recommitment to God, second chances and so much more! Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go dance with my husband.

I really enjoyed this book. This is the first book I have listened to/read from this author. It seems she did much research in preparation for the story of love, hardship, faith, and family. The author did her own narrative and she did it very well. I look forward to more of her books.

I really enjoy this author. She has a way of making her stories just flow together in a way that keeps you interested. I love the element of faith she puts in her books as well as someone always helping someone out/doing good. I don't want to give anything away so I'll just say, if you're thinking about buying it, do so, you won't be disappointed.
The narrative was well done on this... the characters just came to life. Good clear speaking and good speed.

Good book!
Revisado: 06-14-24
I really enjoyed this book. While I understand why. Silas struggled with self confidence, I felt like he belittled himself a little too much and that's what kept me from giving this a five star rating.
I really liked the story overall. It's a wholesome romance that also has some suspense in it. The author brought people from two different worlds, yet not two different ways of thinking, together and wrote a good story.
The narration was done well.

I really enjoyed this historical romance. Tessa was a strong woman of both character and faith. Determined to follow her dreams of being a writer which was frowned upon during her time, she decided to not be sidetracked by love. She wanted to be an independent woman.
The Lord has a way of showing us just what we need. Through several trials, the Lord used her to lead a man to his faith and ultimately they fell in love. Initially, neither of them wanted to have a significant other as they thought it would hinder the path they had set for themselves. You have to read the story to see if love was able to prevail or not.
The narration of this story was well done.

Revisado: 04-29-24
I'd consider this more of an autobiography than a novel. However, I really enjoyed it.
Murrel's life was challenging. He lost his mother at a very young age and his father never got over losing his wife and was unable to physically care for Murrel. Murrel did grow up to be a good man, but he still faced much adversity.
He fell in love with a neighbor's young granddaughter but had to watch her fall for someone else. However, after much adversity Murrel and Cora did end up having life together. Whioe it had its trials, it also had triumphs.
Murrell was a good man, but he was not a man of faith. I love seeing how redemption came to him. I really did enjoy the first person perspective as the story was written.
The narrator did a wonderful job on this book.
