Wonderful for the imagination

The Greek myths are incredible to listen to at any age. I remember being taught the myths at Primary school, which fired my imagination and made me want to visit the country's ancient sites. The narration was engaging and there was a nice level of detail. It was very comprehensive and it is a lovely audiobook for parents and children to listen to and discuss together.

It is beneficial to use herbs to cook fresh food. The audiobook guides you to create a fundamental base to create a colourful, organic herb garden. The guide was well put together and covered sourcing the right herbs that would flourish in the garden. This would be useful for anybody who wants to learn more about gardening.

I have only ever played crazy golf, and I have watched golf on TV over the years. I now understand what the term handicap means. The audiobook highlighted the importance of mindset when undertaking a round of golf. The game allows you to get out into the fresh air and compete with other people simultaneously. This would be a useful resource for anybody wanting to improve their game.

One of the key things I learned after listening to the audiobook was that there are many forms of dementia. A whole chapter was dedicated to modern tools that can be used in dementia care. It was good that the audiobook focused on effective communication and behaviour management. The information was delivered clearly and compassionately.

Retirement frees up so much time. There is a whole world out there to explore with passion and purpose. It looked at different places to travel, how to stay socially connected and embrace new hobbies and interests. Many of my friends now have little ones. I was drawn to the audiobook cover as it was engaging and fun. The audiobook included a parent anger quiz to help identify emotional triggers. It also talked about the importance of active listening and clear communication when engaging with your children. I liked that the guide talked about the negative effects of excessive screen time. This would be a great gift for friends learning to navigate the world of parenting.

Understanding your timetables is an essential foundation for many daily tasks. I still remember my math teacher at school telling us that 12 x 12 = 144, which was called a gross. This audiobook was good because you could pause it and rewind it as many times as your little one needed to learn each timetable. You can also play the guide anywhere, so it would be a good way to break up a car journey or a bus trip.

Many times, I have thought, what if you could take back time and change your decisions? How could that one decision have changed the future? This story focuses on time travel back to one of the most famous events of recent history. Everybody has heard of Pearl Harbor. It was interesting to be transported back into the past and feel like you were part of an important historical moment. It would be a fun read for any historical fiction and science fiction fans. I enjoyed listening to it whilst out for walks.

Many of my friends are now starting families and it is both an exciting and daunting time. The audiobook was good because it broke down anything new parents needed to consider (both practically and emotionally) during the nine months of pregnancy and beyond. It was also useful to get advice on how your household would change going from two people to three. There was lots of sensible advice contained within the guide and it would be a useful resource for any new dads.
