Does anyone edit or revise ew these

The stories are simple & sweet clean stories. Someone does need to listen to the computer though. The second story is about a hair rite not a hay ride and I understand when it reads lead as ( led & not leed ) but seems like you could educate a computer if you could teach it to a young child. If nothing else listen to them & correct them. I don’t know what a hair rye is.

I really enjoy LLM’s books.

I enjoy enjoyed the series. It’s light reading/ listening for me but I do enjoy LLM’s books most anytime. I do like Jack Garrett’s voice he does a great job. My only suggestion is please Mr Garrett, watch a few knife commercials. It’s a fillet knife(fillay knife not a fill-et knife.) I’m from the West Coast originally but
have lived in the south for many years. Never have I heard a cowboy ( which I know many) or anyone else call it a fill et knife. Other than that one thing your wonderful. That’s the perfect voice for these books. I have listened to many books you preform & I always enjoy listening.

No more virtual voice!!

I hate virtual voice books. I’ve tried several & now I just skip past them. I may miss some good books that way but the voice is just flat. Also if you can have a female virtual voice you could add a male voice. I have to back up every so often to figure out who is speaking. The absence of inflection in the voice is also boiling. I know it’s a free read for Premium members and many of the books offered in the Plus catalog are going to this. I’m sure I’m missing some good stories & writers but I just can’t.

Cliff Notes?

This is just a very condensed version of Other Side of Midnight & Memories of Midnight. I thought there was a sequel to the first 2 books but there is nothing new just a brief repeat of the characters & what happened to them. Book 2 ended where there could have possibly been another brief sequel but it isn’t.

Ok Not quite as good as rest of collection

The story was ok. I quest because it was so short it lacked much body to the story. Jesse Metcalfe was a new narrator but I enjoyed his performance.
Grace Grant I was familiar with and she always sounds the same. Her cadences is very unnatural & stilted. It’s like she’s reading unfamiliar material. When she did the male parts she talked like a robot. I know the lead male was highly intelligent & lacked the social graces for dating perhaps but he was a businessman & knew how to talk to people & her brother was a charming & outgoing guy so neither should have spoken like that. I’d give a 3 at best for GG & a 5 for JM’s performance so overall preformance was a 4

Great Story

I really enjoyed this story. It was different, and very different than what I usually read but it was a great listen. I really enjoyed the two narrators also. I enjoy having each reading the proper part. They both did a good job. The story was different than what I expected but it was very enjoyable & left me with a good feeling. Would listen to it again.

Male Narration spoiled it

I can’t give a complete review as I was unable to get through the whole book or it’s companion. Jennifer Stark did a good job but the male narrator was miscast. This is about a young couple but the male narrator sounds older. I skipped through to see if it was being told by a more mature individual looking back but it wasn’t the case. There are flashbacks , but those are to a youth. I gather that from the prolog this is a you g married couple with young children. If the narrator doesn’t bother you than it may be a good listen. Not taking away from Anthony Haden Solerno’s ability to read these books well, just had a more mature sounding voice.

Disappointed

The reviews of the book sounded good but I couldn’t through the first chapter. The narrator is terrible. She sounds like she has a combination of a terrible English accent with a French accent thrown in. I guess I’ll have to barrow the book & read it myself. I tried slowing it down & still could only catch part of it. I’m glad it was an Escape book that was easily returned.

If you’ve watched any of the old Perry Jason’s on TV you’ve seen the stories. The book itself is good but since I already saw the show it was anticlimactic.

An Entertaining listen.

Not quite what I expected starting off but it was entertaining j feel like Ms Starnes kept the basic personalities of the characters. She brought them out well. Really enjoyed Mr Bennet, he gave me some good chuckles. I haven’t read many variations but it was enjoyable.
Stevie Zimmerman is always an excellent narrator.
